Day and night feature

nice idea - maybe make it a little harder for us by making certain characters only
available at certain times of the day (respecting world time zones) - I'm thinking
children not around at night ?

That would be horrible. Night time sucks, that's why I stay inside and play video games.

That's why ther would be lamp posts to give out light I think it would look pretty cool

no.... i wouldn't mind night... but would prob crash more... and the kids idea sucks...

I've always wondered why the don't have that! Then they could turn on the lampposts that you buy! :-D

Yea i don't care about the kids but now they could probably add new tasks for certain characters when it's night time

I've always liked the idea as it's been discussed quite often but I'd like to be able to turn it off and on. If Halloween was any indication, it was very difficult to see many of the animations well while the screen portrayed night.

Yea like recently I started playing this Smurfs village game and in there there is a day and night feature and if you don't like the night feature they give you and option to turn it off

I'd say no, what a pain in the **** if you're trying to edit your town and its dark. (Unless you can toggle it)
