I saw it today on a different website. It looks pretty cool. I'm intrigued by it but unfortunately I don't know when it's coming out if it hasn't already.

Hey! Does that mean I can build the whole town on my dining room table?

Very cool, I would love to add this to my fairly large (and very random) collection of Simpsons memorabilia. Unsure when it will be available and it will most likely be pretty pricey, but if I can get my hands on this I will snag it.

I don't care how old I am this will be coming to my house when they release it. I bought the lego delorean so there no doubt in my mind of not buying the simpsons house.

Nice. Can't wait to go to Toys R Us with a few dozen donuts and pick me up one.

According to a few sources online pertaining to this set, it supposed to come out in April. There are also supposed to be various mini-figures (the Lego figures) also coming out in addition to the house and Simpsons family (and Ned), including Apu, Moe, Chief Wiggum, Itchy, and Scratchy. Not sure if those will come with sets or be sold individually or as a pack of minifigs.

I haven't played with Legos since I was a kid, but I will be picking these up. Can't wait. Though some are saying the House set will be $150-$300, so my wallet can wait. Oh well.

Yeah, I was going to say, the Lego set includes Maggie, but we are still missing her in game!

That is a cool set. As a Lego fan, this is great.

I've gotten a few of the DC Lego sets, I mostly like the figures more than anything. Wish I could get those by themselves

It reminds me of the Lego Creator House someone got me a few years back. I like where Lego is going with this idea.

It's cool, but looks too basic. I wonder what the approximate assembly time is...5 minutes?

Actually, if the box is real and not just a prototype, it says there are 2500 pieces, which is fairly substantial. Also, look at the inset pic in the upper right corner of the box: the entire house folds out to reveal the interior. It's much more complicated than it looks at first glance.

Looking at other licensed Lego sets of similar size, it seems the $150-$300 price tag is accurate (and probably on the low side). Man, I love the Simpsons and I like Legos, but there's no way I can see paying that kind of money for this. Especially since I know one day my kids will cannibalize the bricks to make, like, a barn for their My Little Ponies or something. Just like the ancient Romans stole stones from the Colosseum to build Ye Olde Roman Brothel or whatever.

Edited to add: I love that EA' s filtering software asterisks out Saint but not brothel.

2500+ pieces? that would take me about 30-45 minutes to put together. I have an already rather large Star Wars Lego collection that is still growing, but would stop growing just to get this stuff. I have had Legos since I was a young boy and at 30 I still collect what I can. Legos are one of the very few things I keep around from my childhood.

Also, is that a gun in Maggie's hand?
