You are the one visiting so tap what you want.
I really could care less what anyone taps in my town and I appreciate regular neighbor visits especially during events.
I would never delete a neighbor that visits regularly even if they tap the Simpsons house.

I have something like 99 million with nothing left to buy. I don't care what people tap. I have a couple of regulars who love to vandalize my town... I leave tons of stuff to tap but they love to spray paint, I laugh every time.
Other people freak out if someone touches their lemon tree or taps a brown house...
You will never keep everyone happy. At least if you're a forum regular, you'll know other people's quirks.
Vandalizing is good for people with low cash reserves because they then collect on buildings they wouldn't normally collect on. It also improves their ratings when they clean it up.
@Pull Now that I know vandalizing amuses you I'll do it more often.
When theres not an event going on i dont bother as i dont need the cash and at least 95% of my neighbours are top level and they dont need a few measly few bucks either
What he said...
I don't care what people tap, or whether they visit at all unless there's an event going on.
I like a story in taps: "Hi, I visited you, went to the bar and left my mark, then I went jail and left my mark there too, but I was let out on bail and had to go to court, where I showed Quimby what a sheisty politician I think he is and I vandalized his place!!"
Actually, to those of us with piles of money, I can't think of a single difference it would make financially. And if we worry about our righteousness, we can certainly afford some training walls to keep it high.
The only thing that occurs to me as I tap a Simpson or brown house is the likelihood that a later visitor will tap the same, so the town owner won't know I was there at all.
Sometimes I just purposely tap near their Squidport arch to let them know that if I HAD seen a floating tile I WOULD HAVE tapped it for them. Same with their channel six and farm. A that assumes of course that they have something near those objects to tap in the first place.
Hope that helps.
I'm just glad for the visit.
I keep tv6 & air stage going for those who might visit soon after I collect from all buildings (gives beighbors something to tap) but I stopped collecting for the Christmas event. I have only collected from buildings with handshakes.
Same here, it makes no difference to me. When I visit neighbors outside of events, I tap the tile, farm, stage etc... first, if I have taps left I go for the high payout buildings and/or graffiti-usually whatever I see first. This is mostly out of habit, I rarely tap on the Simpsons/Flanders/brown houses if there is anything else to tap, but honestly I don't think any of my neighbors would mind anyway.
