Random Tasks

Hello all,

Has anyone noticed that the random tasks seem to have stopped at the moment?

Since I finished all the XMAS related quests I haven't had a single charactor ask to do a random task.

I thought it strange..

... I've been getting them daily

I have got 2 or 3 today. I have been getting a ton daily. Including one to plant ?Triffids?...right after I planted corn....

Me three. Not even with any kind of dialog to set up a reason for them.

That's why I'll never grow corn. I couldn't let a task sit there for 90 days, that would drive me crazy.

I have had 3-4 random tasks per week. Also, Sideshow Bob is showing up in my town daily, sometimes twice per day if I catch him early enough in the day. Does anyone else seem to be getting more visits from him?

I've been getting random tasks multiple times a day. I think the most I've had recently is 5 in one day.

Oh well I just must be lucky then.

I have sideshow bob there everytime i log in it seems.

Am I the only one who thought of Austin Powers after reading the title of this thread? Random Task was one of Dr. Evil"s henchmen---based on the Odd Job character from James Bond.

But back to the topic...I've gotten two crop tasks in the past three days, to grow Perfection and tomacco. I don't see how anyone ever finishes growing corn since it seems like there's an update about every three months and every update cancels your crop.

Bob is around alot at the moment, my town and multiple neighbours towns every day - he's one slippery criminal!

yes. every single time. I don't even bother tapping him anymore and just leave him there for neighbours...

I do nothing but grow corn and have never lost a crop from any update. Didnt know that was possible.
