I wanting to know and i am not sure if it has been answered already but when the 3rd Jan comes and the Christmas Special finishes what will we be left with in our Springfields.
Will we still have barny and santa little helper and what will happen to the Santas village etc.
All items that are limited that you have obtained will remain with you, you can then decide whether to keep them in your Springfield or put them into the inventory.
Thy are limited in the sense that after 3rd Jan you will not be able to get them.

Keeping stuff you have paid for seems obvious.....My question is what will happen to the snow? Would be nice to keep it even after christmas, or be able to turn it on and off.
This is a repeat of some of what's been said above, but I'm trying to be comprehensive here.
If it's like Halloween, what will happen is that all the things you managed to buy during Christmas will remain in your town (unless you choose to store them). Limited time items that you haven't purchased will no longer be available for purchase with any currency. New items that aren't limited time (e.g. Bowlarama, Level 24 buildings, etc.) will still be purchasable, and the ones that currently cost Christmas Coins (e.g., Bowlarama) will then cost regular money. All the buildings that gave out Christmas coins will start paying out cash instead (with the premium buildings giving more than the buildings you didn't need doughnuts for, same for premium characters). If you have the Funzos and Santa's Little Helper, they will likely stay in your Springfield and NOT be able to be stored (since that's currently how Burns Monster and Krusty Doll work, despite the protests of many).
I'm hoping that the snow will stay longer than just Christmas, since Christmas is just the beginning of winter. Maybe in the next update you'll even be rewarded for getting Christmas lights off your houses after the holidays?
One more thing re: the lights on houses: if they're just normal facades, then you'll be able to switch back and forth between decorated/non-decorated at will (just like Heck House now).
