Thank You EA

All the complaints to EA are completely unwarranted. Thanks to you we now have another reason to put out the message that EA give to us over and over. The amount of free items that have been given away over the time, far exceeds that of the premium items. If you gathered the freemium vs premium there would be like a 7-1 ratio and it's a free to play game. People don't understand that the developers are the good guys and this forum are generally the evil ones. Thank you for putting this message out!

I wouldn't say, that the developers are the good guys. Especially EA. They are business people with their main goal to earn cash. So they did a lot of things to squish the money out of our bags. But anyway..

I agree with you, that all this complaining is really going on my nerves. Most of this moaners hadn't even paid one penny for this game and think they can complaining about every single thing and they feel unjustly treated.

So, Freemium moaners: You don't pay EA, so you're not even a customer. You just use their product for free = no right to complaining..

About the Thread: Good thing! Glad, you got your stuff back

    Congrats!

And I'm glad you got everything back. I don't understand why people complain when EA can't keep up with all of the new devices and updates and not have a few glitches. Unfortunate, but I'm glad they fixed your issues. Wish I'd see more posts like this here.

You are correct but lets not forget that they are a business and are therefore somewhat entitled to aim to make a profit! Hahaha people keep forgetting that this app is a revenue stream just as much as it is for your entertainment. The game is offered for free but to get the full value out of it, you pay - although I agree that some things are very pricey for what they give you. It is similar to an app having a lite (free/trial) version and then a full paid app.

    Utterly deceptive twaddle-speak, says I.

It took the dude almost 11 months to get EA to give him back what was rightfully his. These are not good guys! They still haven't solved the issues I have with Sims 3 store content not uploading to my game, they took money from Facebook players even when they KNEW they were closing the games down AND they said I should contact Apple for a refund when I complained about the Grumple balloon and asked for my donuts back. What have Apple got to do with it, and why should they suffer? EA are out for what they can get, and it's only when you make a total pest of yourself that they do stuff just to shut you up.

Not to mention - although I'm about to - closing support requests after they send a reply, regardless of whether or not the request has been resolved! EA have APPALLING customer service.

It took 11 months because i never contacted them until a month ago because i never thought that i would be able to get my stuff back. And the only reason was i did contact them was because i wanted barney and the bowlarama back because i did not want a useless plow king skin sat in my inventory forever. Even when i did contact them i only expected barney and the bowlarama back not everything. So i am very grateful to them for giving me everything back.

It's a hard fact of life to learn, but this is often how you get stuff done, out of any customer service. :?

Thank you once again for proving that some members speak their mind subjectively with no clue of what they're talking about. I'd also like to mention that EA would be absolutely flooded with emails if all the complaints on this forum were lodged as complaints (I suspect this may be partially true).

If everyone who had a complaint with EA - a genuine one, I know you like to think that 99% of them are irrational paranoid fantasies - filed a support request I'm pretty sure it would crash their servers. Go to any EA game forum and see for yourself. EA are all about quantity over quality, and once they have your money they shut the door, look it and put it all the furniture up against it.
