What do you want it to say? I'm thinking, "Medal of Game Feature Explaining."

That's good, but is it too much verbiage for a medal? Let's think on it....

Since we're handing out medals, I would like to award one to you neuroheart for being such a great neighbor and tapping that sweet corn of mine each day.

Hi and Welcome to the forum

You can have multiple neighbors tap Squid Port tile, tv6 & farm... which will generate multiple handshakes and each handshake will payout X amount ($45,000 for corn, tv 6 depends on the broadcast of your choice as well as the farm). If you have multiple neighbors tap these items each day, it can generate a lot of cash for you

Hmmm blaitently explaining how to exploit a glitch to speed up generation of in game currently...
Can we ban this person already?

Apparently it's worthy of its own thread in the FAQ. At least Josh can be funny at times.

Well, I would like to award this to CoffeeMars for always being an amazing and generous neighbor. (She posted early on that she wanted her neighbors to give gift bags to players who really needed them, she visits me every day, and she's sent me PMs that were also just full of kindness and generosity.)

I'd also like to give her this one for her amazing town designs!

(This could get to be a really long thread if I start awarding all my great neighors. But you know, I'm okay with that.)

While called a "glitch" on these forums, I'm not so sure it isn't an intentional feature of the game. It is far too consistent to just be a "glitch," and it has survived multiple updates. It is discussed widely on the forums, and EA has made it clear they read at least some of these posts. I think it is simply meant to reward and encourage the social aspects of the game. People are more likely to visit neighbors if there is something in it for themselves (tapping someone else's squidport gives more XP than most actions, plus people will return the favor).

The only time the reward even seems "excessive" is with corn, but you have to realize that is no easy task to sit on a crop that takes 3 months to grow. If someone is willing to grow corn and then benefits from someone tapping it a few times to get a bonus payout, I don't really see where it is a major problem.

Besides, as I have said several times on here, this is not a competitive game. You are not cheating if you are not gaining a competitive advantage. So what if someone else gets more cash and XP than you do. That doesn't lessen your experience of the game, especially if you take satisfaction in playing the "right" way. Some people house farm. It's not cheating, it just makes your Springfield look less like a town or city. Some people know how to maximize tile production or get the most out of their crops. Heck, you don't even have to try to take advantage of the "glitch," you just don't collect your handshake. It's not cheating, and it's no problem to share this basic information with other players.
