the key is to have a lot of neighbors. You're allowed 100 and with 30 gift cards per neighbor per day that's 3,000 gift cards per day just from visiting neighbors alone and not including sending Ned, Homer, Apu, Lisa, Bart and Cletus on daily gift card tasks and the presents and gift bags in your town and the tree

What part of the Christmas quests are you on? If you can get up to the Part 18 soon, that will give you a bunch of additional gift cards every 8 hours (27 cards per character).

Ive only been playing about a week, at level 12 at the moment. Unlocked the racoon today. I have 20 donuts saved, probably not much I can get with them, everything seems expensive. Just dont think I will make enough for what looks like a big building.

The big building (30,00 gift cards) is Costingtons with Mr. Costington as a playable character with questline.

If you get to Ned as Santa, all of his tasks during the event pay out gift cards as well

Dont feel so down The event was supposed to end a week ago - just as you started playing. Thanks to EA, you are able to accomplish all that you have done thus far. Instead of looking at what you dont have, look at the 3-4 buildings you got :-) The mall and the skating rink are rather nice - and the eggnog bar is pretty decent too.

You also have a amusement park ride in your inventory once you are high enough to start building krustyland (I believe its at level 20) so enjoy the game. Its really awesome at level 12 with so much to build and look forward to.

At my level, I've built the buildings and am just waiting for more to be released

to add to that if you're a fan of Christmas like I am the tree is great too

I missed a lot of previous stuff too and thanks to a glitch I missed a few things from Halloween and all of Thanksgiving so I know what that's like but all in all it's a game and we have to enjoy what we do get as opposed to what we don't get.

Just take heart in the fact that, having just started, you've missed so, SO much more than just this Christmas event. Take it from us android users.

I've been playing for so long now I keep forgetting that there are new players every day. Like snowy river said be glad you haven't gotten a few cool buildings. Players that start after the update will envy the buildings that you were able to bet.

LOL, you won't make it. No big deal. You've already missed so much. I started playing right before Halloween and even though I saw all of it, I didn't maximize it because I didn't know what I was doing.

Thanks for the advice, can totally see what your saying. By the looks of things to come from looking through the quests and neighbours towns Im gonna be having a busy time building some pretty cool stuff. Cant wait to get a better looking town like others. I have Seen.

That's the thing, I'm unsure wether I'm doing things right, I'm sure I've made a couple of mistakes like spending donuts when I shouldn't have, but the longer I play I'll get the hang of it.
