Its been a Known issue for along time. But now it is a major issue. And yes I put in my name and password.

Yep I have a friend who primarily plays on her iPhone but whenever she'd attempt to log in one of my Android phones she would load into an old level 7 town (or something to that effect). Ever since the most recent store update she now loads into that town on her iPhone. Sounds just like what you're experiencing. I wish I could say more other than hang tight. :?
