Deleting neighbors using an iPad

That is exactly the same issue I am having on my ipad, and iphone

Every week or so I delete non players, people that have not played for over a month. I have three new friends to add and no way,to clean out the old.

It's frustrating. I have other friend requests but like you can't add them and give them a chance because I can't make room. Maybe someone can help.
