just got a tomacco quest but two days ago I started corn

You could store the farm, then place it, do the tomacco task and then start corn again if you want!

    Darn tommaco :(

Don't ever store started corn. Tommaco isn't a quest & you don't get much from it. By storing the corn you lose not just the time you invested but all the $ too.
Let the non quest task sit. It's no loss.

Hope you didn't take the bad advice
Ugh, during the 3 months you're going to get these stupid things. I do too

    - Or you could just ignore the task if you don't mind seeing the tomacco in your task bar for three months. I have triffids in mine, but no way am I giving up my mature corn crop with neighbor stacked taps for mere triffids.

Worse accident I ever made was storing corn 12 days before it was ready. How I learned about the reset of tasks.

These random tasks pop up all the time. I have had traffidils sitting in my task book for 2 weeks now. Try to ignore it and continue along

That happened to me, it was Moonshine. That stupid moonshine task sat there for 3 months! :x Thanks for the tips! I wish I'd been active in this forum sooner.

I've got a task to harvest the one that only takes 45secs (forgot it's name!) my corn has 79 days left I'm just leaving the task til the corns finished, only done corn once before and had a task for moonshine or something about 3 weeks in it didn't make any difference to my game leaving it

Part of growing corn is enduring a random "Crop Share" task on the task bar. It's not possible to go 90 days without the computer prompting a random crop task.
