All math aside, because I am no use to anyone on that subject...
That's a pretty decent multiplier, right? I don't actually know what mine is, I always forget to pay attention when I tap the GnB. If it's not a good amount, what is?
Another American that cant do math; please take United states out of your id
34,967,991 - 34,966,809 =1182
GNB gives 100
1182 - 100 =1082
impressive
1182 -100 /100 = 10.82
So I calculate your multiplier at 10.82
check
100 * 10.82 =1082 +100 = 1182
Remember we have to subtract the 100 from GNB as it is not part of the multipler
( I hope some one does not prove me wrong as I also am from the US)
Your math is right, but I'm not sure why you are dividing by 100 to get the multiplier. I divide by 10 to get the multiplier from something that pays out $1000 or 1000xp, but why divide by anything for something that pays out $100? I thought the whole point of using the gulp'n'blow is that it pays out exactly $100, so anything over that is the multiplier.
all I know is when I tap on the Simpsons house, I get $7 back
That means your multiplier is anywhere between 100.05% and 133.3%. There's a lot of wiggle room when looking at things with small payoffs. Still a pretty decent multiplier.
Actually it's going to be a bit higher than that, I just went through my inventory and I have 23 sets of fireworks from last 4th of July, 3 green dumpsters, and a few more small multiplier items. Thank you again for the help.
Earning 1182 from a 100 payout means the user earns 1,182.0% more than average. However, that means your multiplier is 11.82. Just multiply everything by 11.82 to get an idea of how much you will earn. Personally, I use the weather station because 1000xp will get you a more accurate result than 100xp.
And I thought I was doing well to get my multiplier slightly above 3.
So I have a 1.78% multiplier. Assuming I have done that right
Damm OP what do you have in your town???
No, you make over 278% above the average, hence a multiplier of 2.78.
And I think some of the math gets tricky because people (or maybe just me) have different ideas of how to define "mulitplier". I do the literal -- what number do I multiply the original to determine what I actually make. Technically we all start out with (using my definition) 100% and a 1 multiplier because you always make 100% of actual, but again, I stick to the standard definition of multiply.
No you have to remove the 100$ that the gulp n blow would earn regardless of the multiplier. There is a 1082% bonus!
I don't because I apparently use a different definition of multiplier. I get that you automatically start with a multiplier of 1, but subtracting 100 just makes things weird if you want to quickly determine how much XP you will earn.

Only if the average is zero. Which it isn't. Neither is the base number. The base number is 100, making anything more than that due to multiplier items. The average would probably be something else entirely.
(Since multiplier items give some sort of percent, I think of the percentage of increased payout as being the value of multipliers.)

Why dont you count the cash thats on the floor instead
EDIT: my math is bad

Your math is correct, sir. Although the way you wrote it, it looks like 1182 -100 /100 = 1182 -1, but I think we can cut you some slack.

Orange house says it pays $250, I actually make $327.
327/250=1.308.
I'm making a 30.8% bonus or have roughly a 1.3 multiplier.
62508019 - 62507741 = 278
278 - 100 = 178
178/100 = 1.78%
So I have a 1.78% multiplier. Assuming I have done that right
Damm OP what do you have in your town???
3.75/3.25=1.15
Mmmmm Muuulllltipliiierrr.
3.25 multiplied by 1.15=3.75.
If I want to calculate the percent increase...
3.75-3.25=.50
.50/3.25=.15
Expressed as a fraction 15/100.
Aka 15%
And I thought I was doing well to get my multiplier slightly above 3.
Do you mean cash or XP?
For cash, that means you have a multiplier of about 1.7. If you actually mean XP, Your multiplier is 8.5
