I also now regret NOT having bought the Mr. Sparkle billboard. Even though I love Mr. Sparkle, 30 donuts just seemed to high a price to pay for a purely decorative item. Then I saw it at the center of a little shopping plaza, surrounded by planters and potted trees in a neighbor's town, and ... NON-BUYER'S REMORSE!!

Spending the initial money for your first donut purchase is always the hardest, but once you spend once you can't stop lol.

Look at it this way, if you buy a Starbucks 3/5 days this week, that's like 10-15 dollars. Simply buy one coffee a week, put that ten bucks towards donuts, and in a month you can buy a solid donut package. Lots of people who don't buy donuts say you get nothing for it, in my case, I would just be spending the money on crappy food or booze. I play this game regularly. I'll get to see my purchases for years, but that food/booze is gone by the next couple hours.

Being a premium player Starbucks aficionado not willing to cut down my overpriced delicious latte purchases, I prefer to compare it to smoking (which is a vice I don't share): I spend less real money per month on the game than most smokers spend per day on cigarettes, while the game gives me a lot more fun than the average smoker draws from his cigarettes. Also, it probably is a lot less harmful to my health than smoking would be.

Whatever motivates you! I don't drink coffee or smoke, so I have cash once in a while to blow, I'm young, I'm foolish, so to hell with it, I'm buying donuts.

I justify my donut purchases on the basis that I wait for new movies to come to the dollar theater before seeing them and I also dont drink any soft drinks. No coke or pepsi or dr pepper for me...I choose to put all that savings towards donuts :-)

i finally made a large purchase with the last Gil sale. While it was hard to spend the money at first, I have been grateful ever since. If you look at the time spent in game to the cost of donuts, its extremely cheap entertainment.

Game is definitely a fun pass time. I doubt I'll use any actual funds to buy something, but I've seen other friends using premium objects... looks awesome.

Everytime I go to a neighbors town and they have some new premium thing sitting there, being shown off, I get jealous, wished I had bought it and then remember that I am just too much of a cheapskate to actually buy anything. Then I sulk back to my town and enjoy all my freemium glory.

Have to confess I just bought donuts for one of my freemium towns. Went to the market to use my loose change in Coinstar, which said it doesn't charge a fee if you get an iTunes eCard. So used it on a town.

I started off my first couple of months as a non-premium player. After I started getting neighbours in Christmas 2012, I started buying donuts after seeing the premium items a lot of them had. I probably would have caved eventually, though

Since then, I've bought all the items, so no non-buyers-remorse for me! (Maybe a little straight buyers-remorse, though )

I really wish I'd bought a Duff truck or two. They look so good in my neighbours towns.

I also don't know why I bought the casino and not the billboard to go with it. In retrospect I just spent the money I would have on excess alcohol and other items I shan't disclose

I bought the casino and went back for the sign a couple days later.the billboard looks great on the outskirts of my town

Now I have everything except a couple of limited time items I never purchased AND I've also quit smoking and had a raise at work - I see no reason to not spend money on donuts each time new content is released.

If it makes you happy - why the hell not?!

I would like to have everything But i don't have the space for it. I've got almost all the buildings (not the duff stadium, because of its size... and the boardwalk buildings)... but i'm a premium player and I like it.
I'm hope there will be a cheap valentines update with donuts ^^ cause i really don't want too spend 400 or 500 donuts on things at the same time... lol
