What Have You Done With the Springfield Grocery Store?

I put mine in a gas station / strip mall area.

That's supposed to be one end of a faux tunnel there.

I joined mine with the mall to make a bigger shopping centre. Although I'm still not 100% happy with it, feels like there's something missing.
Any feedback or ideas welcomed

I wanted to expand it a little, but none of the buildings seemed to work. (Mall would have worked, but it's already expanded on all sides with a couple other buildings and I didn't want to move it.) So i just ended up with the truck behind it and a gulp'n'blow nearby. I like how all the colors work, but I wish the truck didn't dwarf it so much.

You know what, turned that way it looks awesome, the other way, it just looks average. I hadn't turned mine yet, it's still sitting on the edge of my town, until I buy land to place it in its proper spot.

ok, finally able to post this. i had to finish Pressboard Estates first because i wanted the grocery store nearby.


The land behind the store is intended to appear as a neighborhood with a higher elevation, so there's a concrete retaining wall forming the "service drive" around the back of the store. Please let me know if this looks good or you just don't see it.

Also, I move my vehicles around regularly, for mine & neighboreenos amusement.

So for this shot, i have the truck making a delivery, and Homer stuck in traffic trying to get out: "D'oh! Come on, just go! The cat will go right underneath!"

I like the look of Monroes in the corner, didn't even think of that for a little shopping center type layout.
