I came across an old PC game called Virtual Springfield. I will post pictures in a few minutes but just want to explain the game a bit.
I probably played the game way way back. It's dated 1997 and according to the cover its designed for Windows 95. So it's old.
I read through the instructions briefly and apparently with this I can tour a 3D version of Springfield. I haven't installed it yet but I'm tempted. It's pretty interesting and it almost looks/sounds like a predecessor to The Simpsons Tapped Out.
I remember that game!! But don't they have a flash version now Back then it was the bees-knees You should install it for nostalgia reason
I'm debating on playing it because it could give me better insight into how to properly layout my SF. If the map in THIS game is close enough to the current season 25 SF then I think I can build on that.
I've always wanted to try and create a duplicate city but I understand that it would take time and money because everything costs something. (Well... most of the good stuff costs doughnuts)

It's going to take me awhile.
lol it's always worth taking a look, we're slowly getting all the buildings too make a town hall now (centre park thing) You should take a picture once your done
I remember playing this. I'm pretty sure I still have it too but doubt it would work with windows 7 on my computer now. I distinctly remember using like seltzer water and spraying stuff on shelves in Flanders's house that did random things when I sprayed them.
It was a fun game, bug buggy. IIRC, most of the characters were voiced, which was nice, but there wasn't really any kind of storyline. On the other hand, that wasn't the point; the point was to let you wander around Springfield and look behind every nook and cranny you wanted to.
I've got the CD still kicking around somewhere, but I wish I'd kept the box; it was a real classic and would've looked cool up on the wall or shelf.
Wow lol, never heard of it! How interesting. I did have the simpsons hit and run, and the simpsons road rage for the first gen xbox though! Used to play them all the time.

You could probably do something small and close-ish enough though.
If it wasn't opened, I'd say hang on to it, it could be worth something in that kind of condition!

I have Windows 7 and it works perfectly fine.
