Question to technologically gifted folks ...

If the server is down, why am I getting notifications as usual when one of my characters has finished a task? I just now got notified that Marge just finished walking Maggie, and I don't want Marge to get any Thelma &Louise ideas and jump in that new Duff racer and drive it over a cliff.

The notifications are handled by your device. I get them all the time at my wife's parents' place, where I don't have wifi access at all.

Yes, servers seem to be down.

Oh the memories of the good 'ol days (or not so good) when this occurred frequently.

Managed to uninstall and reinstall and got access to my unsaved game, update worked OK but can't log in to my main town just yet

I finally got a chance to play and download the update but now the game won't load! At least now I know that I am not the only one with this problem.

My jobs had just finished when I went on and it said cannot connect to server! That means I have to wait for my jobs (Superbowl part 2). I was planning on putting lisa and homer on jobs ( Superbowl part 3 ) at 7:25 GMT and for them to be finished by 11:25 GMT, however, that's obviously not going to happen! :-(

tablet android - cant login to origin either and no connection possible - so i think they are working on it or it has something to do with the super bowl week - maybe a new update or else
