Id you want everything from christmas, you have to visit neighbors for coins.

I should stop tapping so much so my friends can get access to my houses before I collect rent. I am just trying to get caught up on the game with my second town(first one decided not to work for a week after thanksgiving balloons)

I think they should reduce the santa coin timers on the houses. lets say 8 hours between tapping.
We will run out of time before we can collect everything... i don't want to shell out $ for coins.

I Did the math, if you decorate every house type of which there is 13 (not including premiums) you should get 65 coins plus the 10 from the tree a day, throw in some friends, xmas tasks and you will easily clear 100 a day. Granted that you don't start out with every building decorated but give it a week or so and you will be rolling in coins. Dont panic, the same was said about Halloween and people had vast fortunes of treats to spare at the end of it.

plus funzos, santas little helper, Barney and the bowlarama and all the new buildings are not limited time items. They will just cost dollars instead of coins after the end. As far as I can see the only thing limited is the xmas decorations and most people will revert back to regular once xmas is over anyway

I disagree, I think that it is actually going to be fairly easy to get everything and we will all end up with a lot of worthless coins at the end of it. If you have more than one house of the same type, they all get decorated and therefore you can make multiple coin collections. The same applies when collecting from your neighbours. I was fortunate enough to get off to a great start as it was my mystery box day and I received 30 Christmas coins. So relax, it´s Christmas!

i agree that we will be rolling in coins but even though all brown house will be decorated all at once, only one will dish out coins, this goes for all multiples of house types, just 5 coins per day per house type, but as i said that alone (once you decorate them all) is 65 a day.

You'll need 165 a day for 30 days to get everything.

I dont think the funzos or santas litle helper are limited items (the game screen dose not have a lmited item banner under these items) So i believe they will still be available after xmas- i may be wrong but they clearly do not say limited time.

You're right, they don't. We still don't know how they will be available after the event. Could be money, could be donuts. Coins are free, unless your time is money. It's easy enough to get everything in under two weeks and not risk whatever may come next.

plus the funzos are the burns monster all over again, only times 3. We will prob wish we could get rid of them after a few weeks, buyers remorse. lol

The blue one costs 50 donuts. I welcome them all into my town. I regret not getting the Bart raven and want the blue Funzo.

My wife who plays daily has amassed 200 coins in 24 hours (she only has one house decorated so far as the next part hasn't unlocked for her yet) so it is definitely possible to amass a fortune of coins in the time allowed us. Im not sure how she did it (prob tasks and friends towns - she has not spent any donuts on items except xmas village so that accounts for 25 coins) but still she has over 150 a day. Also from my experience so far the quests for the buildings and probably funzos occur along side and separate to the house decorating. Ive just been prompted to do the mapple quest and i still have the house decorating quest to finish at the same time.

If you partake in premium the Santa's Village pays out 25 coins a day. Plus, each Holiday Tree you get is 10 coins a day.

Then add in your jobs, plus the pay outs from each house and you should be good. I mean, you can send Homer, Lisa and Bart for 10h jobs and pay out 6 coins each = 18 coins plus Marge for a 12h job worth more. So you get like 25 every 12 hours from them... 50 every 24 hours if you can manage to keep them on those jobs constantly. That's 1 new facade every 24 hours.

Not to mention you *could* buy the Santa Sack and get 10-20 each time but it is expensive.

The problem with having more friends, is that I find when I add more friends to my list my game starts getting more buggy and crashes more. So I keep my list trim so I can play the game without any hassles.

I'm confident that by the end of this update, I will have all the Christmas stuff but it's gonna be hard which is part of the fun, no?
