Changes when visiting neighbors

I've got the Valentine update but haven't finished the first part (harvesting the rose) yet. When visiting my neighbors, I can still tap on the buildings; however, I notice that I cannot clean up the graffiti for my neighbors anymore. Also notice that the Krustyland shuttle's image is corresponding to the level of my neighbors' KL star level, instead of my KL's star level before the update.
