Still incredibly buggy.

I had serious problems with the game crashing when tapping on certain characters and tried everything to fix it. In the end the only thing that sorted it was deleting excess trees, bushes etc. As soon as I deleted my forest the game started running really well.

No issues at all here. Even texture glitches have gone away.

So, ever since the Halloween update I crash every few minutes. It's bad, but I can play through it. Unfortunately now I can't click Homer without the game crashing, which I can't play through. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling(which never works) , any other solutions?

I wish they'd work on fixing some glitches and implementing a pricing system that didn't gouge the hell out it's customers, before they started doing all these updates.

You're talking about two radically different things here. If you're unhappy about the pricing of donuts, you won't be lonely in this forum, but don't hold breath waiting for any significant changes.

As to your other point, I agree that we should *all* be able to play this game without it crashing every few minutes. I'm still hopeful that the developers can come to grips with this problem. Not incredibly hopeful, but hopeful nonetheless.

I had tons of glitches and crashes in my game. Then someone suggested removing a ton of friends (I had 100) and it worked. I now keep my friends list around 10. I know, it's supposed to be a social game but when I have tons of friends the game doesn't work!

So, clear out your friends list. It worked for me.

Sorry, the second paragraph was an afterthought, and I just felt like venting a little without creating an entirely new post. Sort of a "two birds, one stone" type of deal. The original problem still stands; I'm missing out on a lot of Christmas Coins w/o being able to utilize Homer.

actually around the 25th of December Old Gil is supposed to pop in your town offering you a25% discount on donuts and Santa village ^^ and for the crashes well Im not giving EA a single * dime until they fix this broke * game. I LOVE the game but **** before adding a god damn real money currency in a game where the whole point is to build a town where they keep adding stuff with updates the priority is to have a stable game that supports all the houses/ decorations and players creativity.

Yeah, I've heard the Gil story elsewhere, although it didn't seem particularly authoritative. I still occasionally chuckle when I think about the Kodos rumor. And even if the "Gil" sale comes to pass, it'll likely be temporary.

Good point, but the latest update puts current players in a bit of a bind. Folks are scrambling to generate coins and the best way to do that is via friends.

I really think that the friends thing might be at the heart of people's remaining stability issues. They seem to have updated the game for it to be pretty smooth for most people recently. Cutting out friends (say in blocks of five or ten at a time) might really be worth it. The other thing to do is clear out any invites you've got. I used the Origin Client to do this and since then I've had only a handful of random crashes.

deleted multiple trees and bushes(could probably do more) and halved my friends list, still no luck. my main concern right now is just being able to click Homer.
