Why do I loose stars on righteousness?

That happened to me a lot as well. Seems if you clear out friend's vandalism, it will go back up. Another trick is to place a lot of those training walls (long red wall with the tan door in the middle) behind buildings so they can't be seen. I have about 20 or so, which has more or less stopped the stars from going down.

I do believe the new "lady justice" statue will also increase your righteousness, and you can place more than one if you wish.

I suddenly dropped from 4.5 to 1 star on righteousness. Have lady justice statue but not too many training walls.
Can it have something to do with what you send your citicens to do? Cops drinking at Moes instead of chasing criminals
and baddies commiting crimes instead of relaxing in jail ?

spraying friends towns will make your righteouness crash down; also not tapping Sideshowbob in The Other Springfield (tip: note where he is as you can go back as often as you like a day to arrest him for extra money, xp, plus it also slowly raises your righteousness); also cleaning sprayed buildings in friends towns will raise the level, and of course catch Sideshowbob in your own and friends towns once the notification appears right away!

Please don't clean your friends graffiti. This is what causes peoples righteousness to go down in the first place. After a week your stars should come back. I recommend building a bunch of training walls to get your stars back quicker.

I need to try this. Rightouesness going down is kinda annoying.

The awat van is also suppose to raise righteous but I didn't notice any great upward effect

Yeah I got that van too and haven't noticed anything. It must have a very low impact.

I have seen people arguing this one both ways ... do we have a definitive position on whether we should be cleaning our neighbours graffiti or not?
