Not sure what's going on with my partners account but it will load the game then just come straight off it he has an iPhone and I have an iPad but even signed in on my iPad it does the same thing..Help pleaseeeeeeeee
Hi EA are still having server issues please be patient they are dealing with it as quick as they can. :-)
After a full week of not being able to access the game with my origin account logged on, patience is starting to wear thin. Up to date Android os, xperia z1, played over wifi and using data, uninstalled and re-installed after each update received all with zero success.
The ONLY way the game loads is by playing anonymously and losing ALL my previously unlocked stuff which is NOT a feasible solution to this issue.
EA has dropped the ball here. There's no way to get any time sensitive missions and rewards now. I'm about ready to just give up altogether.

So, I just spent over an hour on the phone with ea help people in the USA. Apparently I've been told that the new update requires the latest update for Android (5.0), named lollipop. Now the problem is, this update will not b available for my phone for about a month, and NEVER for my tablet.
During the process of trying to fix my game, they had reset my game to a previous save, which would cause game progress loss for which they would compensate me with "some" donuts. This did not gain me access to my game, and it continues to freeze on the spinning donut load when using my origin account.
After a long wait for information from a specialist, the EA guy tried to b helpful, was even quite friendly, but in the end had to regrettably tell me that until I was on lollipop, my game simply would not work. He was sorry but I'd be able to play again in January hopefully. No other offer of compensation, no explanation as to why I can play anonymously. Just, wait a month and hope.
I have already deleted this app from my tablet as it can't update its operating system any higher than it currently is now. I am considering deleting it from my phone as well, considering I will miss the entire Christmas update and any special items that go with it. I've put money into this game, so I haven't yet. But come on EA, if a smaller company like Tinyco can keep the almost exact same game (but in Quahog instead of Springfield) going smoothly, what excuse does a titan of game industry like you have?
I am not sure how many people out there ,if any...are having the same problem as my husband and I but we can not load the game on our phone or tablet...it keeps saying cannot connect to server...we have wifi and even so our tablet and phone have 4g...ugh tell me its not just us having this problem...and that there is a way to fix it b4 I go *crazy*

I can't log on to the game. Each time I try, as soon as the winter skin comes up and the donut in the bottom corner starts to turn, the "can't connect" screen with Bart comes up asking me to retry. Each time I click the retry button, the same thing starts all over again... 1 or 2 seconds with the initial loading screen and then right back to Bart...
Is there anything you can do to help me out?

I can finally get into mine...I thought for a minute there I was going to need a straight jacket...my Willie just got done mopping floors and didnt know if my game saved after starting the next guest...grr
Everything goes well until I "Tap to Continue" and it boots me back to my home screen on the iPhone. Tried rebooting phone and everything else--no use! Please fix.
I am also unable to log in since part 2 began. Logging out of origin allows me to play anonymously, but that's a blank Springfield and that ain't gonna happen.
Same problems for me but only on one of my accounts. I even tried logging in on a different device with no luck just a kick to the home screen when attempting to load my town. The other account loads just fine on both devices though.

Make that 3 days now. Have not been able to log in since wednesday. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing is helping
Why won't the app load properly on my Note 4? The game worked fine up until Sunday, December 18.
I open the game on my phone, then see the "Gracie Games / Fox / EA" logos screen ... then the screen goes black.
I'm not surprised that EA fails, yet again, to code properly. And EA expects me to waste my money on their garbage?
Is there any way to contact EA directly?
