I had this issue twice during the monorail event. The first time was Act 2. It was resolved within 3 days. I was able to complete act 2 with no problems. This time around it was the same issue with Act 3. It took 5 days to resolve. I had to contact EA twice today. They finally responded around midnight, maybe later. The agent reset my game to the beginning of the Act and offered 15 donuts. I responded that it was now fixed and as I appreciated the donuts this does not make up for lost time or rails and I would like something further done. He responded with saying that he would like to know if he should close the case and get my 15 donuts or do a further investigation. I responded saying he can close the case and I would be going to all the forums to let everyone know how this was handled and that EA will see a decline in players in the days to come. He responded:You are most welcome and I really appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Additionally as I promised earlier I have added 15 donuts into your account. So, cheers and enjoy The Simpsons: Tapped Out.

I am outraged at EA for the lack of care. This event was suppose to be amazing and fun and now the game is ruined for me. I wish that they would step up and acknowledge their fault and either extend the time so players can finish the event or give out what is needed.
I was able to play fine this morning, but at some point I was no longer able to log in. After pressing "tap to continue" it tries to load for a couple seconds, then quits out of the game. I've tried logging in from several devices, same thing happens. I can log into other accounts on my devices just fine. It's only this account for some reason. Very frustrating for this to happen during an event. I've contacted EA about the issue, but God only knows if they will actually do anything about it other than tell me to try all the things I've already tried, that other people have suggested over the years.
I've been having this exact problem since yesterday afternoon, have you had any luck contacting ea? I think I'll try that too.
Two weeks ago I spent forty dollars on Simpsons tapped out, for the last event. Purchased the items I needed for the event but was unable to play the game agin do to freezing on the daily reward. I followed all of the sudjested fixes from your web site, to no avail, I then sent emails for help with no responses (awesome job on the customer service). I find this very frustrating to have spent the money for this and not be able to complete the last two tasks. Now I have to spend more money to be able to complete the monorail. if I would have been able to play this would never been an issue.
Same prob here. Was fine when I went to bed last night , now I can't log in. I've gotten in once and it redirected me back out to the load screen. Have TSTO on my iPad and it's the exact same issue. Keeps asking me to RETRY. ?
Same here, also not getting friend points in my town and a lot of freezing up and kicking me out of the game.
The game will reset in one day I'm so close to getting my tracks and donuts.
As I posted elsewhere I have been unable to log in with my id for over 48 hours now. I can play anonymously but that doesn't allow me to access my level 57/58 Springfield.
I have the same problem. Can't join my level 58 city... I put my EA login, the donut start spinning then stop and the game crash... Back to home screen with an advise that Springfield stopped. Both on my android and iPad... 3 days already. Please fix this...
I managed to get back on by unistalling and reloading the game. However, the server down problem is back just like last weekend. I figure EA owes me 10 donuts as I missed getting the 5 weekly railyard donuts last weekend and may miss them this weekend. GRRR!!!!!!!
I've been unable to play for almost 3 weeks now because of this issue. I filed a bug report but after a week of being passed around like an unwanted holiday gift to several customer service people, I was told it looked like my save file was corrupted, but it couldn't be restored because my account was in 'limbo'. and that was it. no additional help, no next steps, just silence.
My best guess is the update that switched from the Origin service to the EA service corrupted my account. It's less expensive to lose me and what I spend on the game than try to fix my account and keep me happy. Normally I'd just move on, but I really liked this game and have been playing for a year or two. I even spent money. I guess this is EA and the Simpsons breaking up with me
I haven't been able to play on my ipad since the easter update.. ended up deleting the game multiple times and nothing.. I can log on my android device but not sure what is up with ipad not working for it? I have other games that play just fine. It's a bit frustrating to say the least. I ended up getting a new phone this past weekend and it worked on that phone. Why does it seem to be a huge issue with ipad? It either get stuck at the load screen and not update or gets stuck at the screen before that. Some help would be great.
I recently changed to a Note5 and unless I'm on WiFi it won't load. Get the Gracie/Fox logos then a black screen. I can't piggy-back off my work WiFi, and Starbucks isn't next door either. This is quite frustrating even more so when you want to partake in special events and need to get in every couple hours. I'm in my network, even turned on data roaming, and no change. :?: :?: :? :?

Every time I open the game it crashes at the first screen. I've reinstalled it multiple times and tried on different devices. I haven't been able to play any of the first week of the Halloween event and it really isn't cool. I've been playing since this game came out and would really like to continue playing. I really hope this issue can be resolved.
EA know there is a issue for many with game crashing when you log in and nothing is being done! my case is with a "ea specialist" and still a week later i cant play the game, i have missed all the halloween event as problems started as soon as that update came thro, IF they ever get it fixed (not holding my breath) i will be miles behind on the event!!!

that was, until a couple of hours ago. and now i keep getting 'cannont connect to server' with an option to retry. which i do, over and over.
uninstalled the game. reinstalled it. rebooted my router. turned my device on/off. nothing is working - please help!
