Packing my Giant Springfield to the gills.

No way would I dislike a Springfield with more space. I want more space! I just got Bowlarama, Krabapple Apt, Mapple, Santa's Village and Krustylu and it put my Springfield into chaos. I wish I could afford more space, but I figure I'll shove the buildings close together for now and get all the characters which will help get more money. Then I'll expand multiple rows each way and do what you did and space everything out.

I'm still going to have close together sub divisions of houses and lots of detail to my 'lots' but more space is definitely my goal.

I think the main thing is having lots of detail! The more detail you have in the areas of your town the better it will look. I just littered my town with lamp posts and it really ups that factor.

I'm not really a fan of the huge but sparse towns. Lots of empty space seems like a waste to me.
I used to have a friend that seemed to have bought every square of land, but each building was on its own little island in a sea of grass connected by a few lonely roads. It sounds a lot cooler than it looked.

I love the big but well mapped-out and densely decorated towns. Ewaldklement's Springfield is a good example.

I'll throw up a panorama in like a month. Lol I don't put to much time into it in a single sitting because that's when you start doing redundant things. So soon enough it will be full. except all the donut items (sigh)
