Yep just finished it was caused by the Valentine's Day update...But got 75 free Donuts for my trouble.

Yup v-day redo. Big d?j? vu. 75 donuts made it worthwhile though, luckily it didn't put me behind on starting 39.

What the hell??? I had to redo level 38 after the valentines day update and didn't get any free donuts! :shock:

I'm on to doing level 38 for the third time....... should I be contacting EA now? The XP amount needed has dropped..... getting peeved.

I actually had a tech contact me with a fix... which worked... for all of 45 minutes (which is the time it took to buy back the premium items I lost and place them in the town). He even gifted me with 15 doughnuts for my troubles. Of course I've SPENT 797 doughnuts TWICE thus far... the first time was after the initial Valentine's Day update... which crashed soon after... the second time was after the tech restored/fixed my account (which returned me to the point at the beginning of the Valentine's Day update), and it crashed right after replacing all of the missing items. I've spent 1594 doughnuts and now don't have enough to restore my Springfield to the point where it crashes. My theory is that the bug in this update won't allow anyone who has the doughnut resources to speed through this level. It crashes because we haven't given it time to adapt.

There was a thread under bugs and issues for those who ha to post if they had to redo 38. Chances are if you didn't get donuts you didn't post there.

It was really more a thread of people who we're missing things. I guess since I wasn't missing anything, my reward was re-doing tasks.

I've concluded level 38 twice on my sons' game and still can't get the Blue Haired Lawyer Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Thank you in advance

He's premium (costs 90 donuts to buy). He's not part of the L38 quest, but has his own 10-part one when you buy him.

Or are you having trouble buying him with donuts?
