was thinking of this the other day.. the game should offer a grace period where any accidentally spent doughnuts can be refunded

say a 10 second grace period after any purchase where you can refund it. if say you accidentally buy one of the funzos or something you get 10 seconds to refund it.. if you do it takes away the funzo and gives doughnuts back.

same with building or task speed ups.. allow it to refund and it would set the time back to where it was before.

it's too easy to accidentally spend doughnuts and the confirm doughnut spend sometimes turns itself off with updates ( even with it on if you're careless you can still accidentally spend them)

They do it's called donut confirmation button. Turn it on and save you donuts, leave it off and make EA happy.

still possible to spend them if you accidentally hit yes hence why i am suggesting the ability to refund them

Also, please make your setting transferable by account, not by device. I just got a new phone and lost 6 donuts, 6 donuts that it will take MONTHS for me to make back up, because my settings did not transfer with my account. This is total ****. I'm so angry. Why would this not transfer with your account? Prior to donut confirmation, I spent dozens of donuts to hurry up the taxes on houses which no player would ever do anyway, they shouldn't even have the ability to hurry up the taxes on a house. This is crap.

The donut confirmation button should be enough imo

    Months? Really?

Play more frequently, and you'll level up each week.. level up = free donuts.

Ha, back in the day, you didn't even get a cancel button if you accidentally rushed a task.... It was VERY common to lose donuts this way.

You tell these whippersnappers, Lyle! They don't know how good they have it.

But seriously, I agree with MrJuanMata, I think donut spend confirmation is enough. If it was a matter of development resources, I'd rather they focus on more pressing issues.

But at that point you'll have accidentally TWICE clicked to spend donuts.

On top of that with tasks you can quickly press to cancel, saving your donuts and items need to be placed before you are charged, so for those things there are already three measures.

(I do agree that it would be nice to get refunds for spent donuts, but I'm just pointing about that there are already 2-3 steps to prevent accidental spending)
