Congrats on making this a sticky, I know you are working on your port and Springfield next, I will keep looking around to see how you are doing neighbour. Let's see if you can get the same response for your port and Springfield!!! Putting yourself under pressure!!!
I have kinda been struggling to think up designs for KrustyLand, thinking the Devs shorted us on items, but it is clear that, with some imagination, there are myriad more possibilities than I had thought of. Congratulations on a truly spectacular KL! When I get off my * to work on mine, I am sure that I'll have your design handy as inspiration.
Wow, this is all amazing! I love the detail, and all the made up things that don't really exist in the game - the bathrooms, concert pavilion, and especially the map! Best krustyland ever
FYI: i moved the OP images to their own photobucket acct today to attempt to evade the "bandwidth exceeded" warning that popped up this morning. PM me if this happens again, or someone else is welcome to assume hosting duties. i can give you higher quality pics for this too.
p.s. thank you all again for the positive comments. since posting this, i definitely see some renewed interest in KL, and that was my goal, so, GLAD TO SEE some great KL's in progress!
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!
well the problem with any living document, is updating any copies when new material comes in.
i just updated the first picture in this thread, which is the complete park. i won't be updating the map i made just for fun.
new content in the park includes Valentine's decorations which were recently added to the KL inventory options. Be sure to use them in your park and get 'em out of storage!
I added a some stuff to the Tunnel of Love attraction to give it a little more flair:
I added some lightposts throughout the main aisles of the park, and if you didn't notice, i've begun my race course in the back of the park. The attraction entrance is complete, and i'll spend the rest of my future KL tix on acquiring land to build the track. Always a work in progress!

Beer fountain, visible from the front gate, so there's no doubt which way to head for a Duff!
Ferris wheel replaces radioactive man as the eye catcher from the front parking lot. I love how this looks!
Radioactive man moves to new "Chaos Alley" area, featuring wrecked police car, new Tavern on the Scream, and Haunted Condo. And bees i guess are included there. Like if you're allergic.
And the balloons look great on the concourse of the KL Speedway gokart track!
All in all an excellent update for freemium users!

Hello. I just wanted to say that your excellent KL design has prompted me to finally put some love and interest into mine. Well, that and the new content.
I'm going to strive at attempting to replicate the amusement park I grew up going to, Canobie Lake Park, Salem, NH. It was built in 1902, and much like our KL's has undergone numerous overhauls. (I really need a Carousel as my center piece though. Oh and water! I need a lake!)

I grew up near Great Adventure in new Jersey which became a six flags park. Now i live near six flags Atlanta. I love amusement parks and building a Simpsons themed park was a blast. Some of these rides though, i may have to sit out that eye balls of death ride! Lol
Have fun with your KL overhaul! Be sure to post pics when you're done.

I just nuked my Krustyland and redid it and now I'm looking at your KL and.... I am put to shame. i want to cry. Why do I even bother working on such a thing when you've blown us all out of the water?!

I'll tell you why.
I just now looked at Mopurglar's new KL thread. And it is completely different than mine, and absolutely fantastic. It blew ME away as i had considered 3d but did not think of doing what they did.
But we both built them using the same set of design features. Just like musicians make a zillion different songs using the same set of notes. So we all can be enlightened by great creativity.
He mentioned getting inspiration from others. I did too. And so you may get some from me and others. But you'll still do things your way, and it will be your park. If you want to focus on 3D like Mo did, you can. Or focus on realistic details like i did. I was constantly asking myself if that's how it would be at a real park. Would the trees all face the same direction, or all they all very random? What is the strategy behind trash can placement? Etc. Etc. If you want to feed your OCD you certainly can here. Sometimes it takes a while and progress goes slowly. But you'll find motivation to build and it will be fun. Then when it's done you'll share with others an and we'l all get to enjoy it!
So no tears of frustration! Work on your park at your pace, and when inspiration hits, be creative! Post pics and get support as needed. But be patient, this is one of those things where the fun is in the journey more than the destination.
But thanks for the compliment of course!

I created a Balloon Ride launchpad, and next to it is a cat tossing game! Hit the hay carts for big prizes
