I would say the wheel is a pretty obvious ploy to con people out of money in exchange for loading them down with crap that isn't useful or wanted. In that, I think it is pretty successful.
i despise that horrible wheel. the odds do not appear even, as suggested. otherwise, how would i get 3 trains and 5 heart ponds, supposedly the higher odd items, but it took the entire event's time and 53 spins to get one stinkin' gazebo? 2 fences but 10 balloons? ugh.
clearly there's more going on there than we can see. it's not just random chance, they are manipulating the outcome. which IS NOT fantastic for free players.
it makes us obsessive, compulsive heart craving maniacs! when can i go visit and collect more hearts?? oh no 193 hearts? i can't wait 24 hrs! someone please visit me! 20 mins went by, did anyone visit me? i have to get that last gazebo! no, not another pepto fountain, that's 5!
no thanks. the xmas wheel was bad, the v-day wheel was worse. i dread any future wheels.
I'D LIKE TO SEE MORE AWARDS GIVEN FOR TIME SPENT PLAYING. or skill events, where you can improve your odds as you practice it. you can't practice a wheel, no matter how many "secret ways to spin" you may think there are.
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!
Even though I've cleared them both, I do not like the wheel. I had huge success with the first one but the second one had proven more frustrating. I can't imagine how annoying it must be to be that person who never cleared one or both.
I don't like the Wheel. I can't stand that they took away my choices. If I want a billion (exaggeration) pink fences then I want the option of getting them with in game cash or donuts (I don't care which one) not have to try my luck for them. If I want to deck my town out with heart balloons I want the option. If I don't want anymore flower carts I don't want 10 of them thrust upon me with no option to sell when all I want is one more lamp post for symmetry.
But I am a completist. A wheel is just potential for not being able to get it all. and that wouldn't that be awful
