how do you delete a neighbor if the game won't let you?

I had that problem too. Kept telling me there was an error. He didn't show up on my Origins friends list (in scrabble) but he did show up in the games friend list. I tried deleting him about 3 times it finally worked by the fourth. I'd suggest to keep trying?

You could also try logging out and back in
