I just got Homer's car. I'm visiting friends right now and have 500/5000 FPs. Another 5 days and I get Stampy!
I didn't use 1 donut to get these prizes. Not one. When it comes to prizes like this, I use donuts all the time. Because these aren't limited items or part of an event that has an end date, I've been patient. Many times I wanted to use donuts, but I said to myself, "why pay 100 donuts for an item you can get for free?"

Yes I'm the same. I won't spend donuts on something I'm definitely going to get anyway. It's noticeable how the people who rush through everything with donuts are usually the first ones to start complaining that they're bored with the game as they have noting to do...
Just got Stampy! I'm well chuffed with him - he's a great addition to the game!
Now looking forward to seeing if I get any bonus donuts from visiting friends, and waiting for additional FP prizes.
I'm sure you'll get some donuts. I got Stampy on Wednesday and I got two donuts yesterday
Yea I've been max level since Tuesday and have gotten a donut everyday I visited. The weird thing was I got the social butterfly message again yesterday in my main town which was weird since I was max level. I'm also working towards homers car in my feeder town and should have Stampy there by end of the month
I STILL haven't even gotten Homer's car
I was ill then my game was crashing
it's fixed now tho so off to (FINALLY!) visit my neighbours
~sorry for not visiting guys~
About half-way to Stampy. So likely sometime next week. Will visit tonight, probably skip tomorrow (since my timers are way too late in the day) and will likely do it on Sunday.
Wow. Seems people are getting more donuts than I expected.
I have a prediction to make: if EA puts up the next set of FP items very quickly, there are going to be a few who will complain that EA didn't leave much time for free donuts. (And that was not aimed at anyone in this thread.)
Maybe this is a sign that they will add FP levels very quickly. The last thing EA would want is a lot of people getting lots of free donuts for weeks at a time. If they DO add levels, I hope that each level works the way this one did ... The initial item at about 1,000 FP, leading up gradually to a big one for 5,000 or so. Rather than starting the next level at, say an item that costs more than 5,000 FP. It is good incentive to be able to leave a breadcrumb trail with lots of crumbs. Just my opinion.

It depends how many they add at at time. If they add another 5, I can see it this way. If they are adding a single level, I bet it would be in the neighborhood of 5000 (higher or lower).

If I were a newcomer starting this game I think I would be discouraged about the FP. Right now it is more important to visit neighbors than be visited (only 4 graffiti buildings gives FP when visited), so the push is to have 100 neighbors to visit. This works initially, but newcomers (and even midlevel players) can't handle 100 neighbor visits, so they are soon dropped by the neighbors. I'm going to have to drop some newcomers myself because they seem to have given up.

I don't mind waiting an extra couple of days tho. It keeps me busy and coming back to the game.
