I would like to see Lard Lad Donuts pay out a donut a week or something like that, it could be done that you have to pay in game cash to start the "making" of the donut and a week later you get a donut (for example) Doubt this idea will happen as it been two years and it has never been done

Not going to happen. If they did that they'd get less money. I don't buy doughnuts often at all, in fact I haven't bought any since the Christmas sale and hadn't bought any before that, but I know I wouldn't buy doughnuts ever again if they did this. And many people would probably be the same.

IF they did do it however, it wouldn't be 50k or 100k for 1 doughnut. 50k per doughnut would mean I could nearly get two per day. It would be more like 1,000,000 for 1 doughnut, or maybe even more.

This was why i was thinking of LL's as they could make it so you have to pay X amount and then had to wait a week or possibly longer till you got the donut(s) As you quite rightly say doubtful it would happen but it always nice to dream

I love this idea Neo, it really would be helpful to freemium players, I know I can buy donuts when I want to but I'd do this task just to have something new and fun in the game. The only problem it faces is LLD is premium, so not everyone will have it unless the use the Church Of Lard Lad for it? Defo an idea that EA need to bring to the game :thumbup:

Agreed, this version would be even better than my initial one

and with the 100k was just an example, as mentioned it need to be balanced... Maybe to get one donut per week than you will still get only 50 per year which isn´t really a lot

Thanks guys, as i say this has been mentioned before so techincally i cant take credit for the idea as a whole

@Dave3490 yes good point i forgot that LLD is Prem, yeah they could use the Church Lard Lad although probably some people dont have that building either lol I was thinking LLD as you would have to spend money to get that building which gives EA their money they want but then over time gives us something back

As i say it just an idea that with a little fine tuning could work really well

Maybe they can enable the building in normal buy menu, even with high price 1.5 Mio or so, means also only available for active gamers

Maybe they could introduce a Donut Van? Like the one that visits the Nuclear Power Plant in a couple of episodes. It could be unlocked via a quest and bought with in game money.

Then it could work like Neo suggests; you pay in-game money at the start of the week, and receive a donut at the end of it.

Technically there is a way to exchange cash for donuts. Sell and buy stuff. Bingo 1-3 donuts!

Even if you had to pay 100k to 'bake' one donut a week, it would take you over 2 years to pay for Lard Lads. Doesn't seem that much different than giving out 5-10 donuts a couple of times a year (Christmas/4 of july/ etc) Point is, people wopld still have to buy donuts if they wanted premium stuff.
