Just my opinion: If you fancy the benches, I wouldn't muddle it up with the rose bushes behind them - just find a different spot for them (or replace the flowers with 'em). Personally, I'd skip the benches and go with 4 sets of flowers or four rose bushes. The symmetry of the shrubs, particularly around the fountain and outdoor tables, is beautiful - keep it simple with the same set of flowers/rosebushes within those shrubs so as not to distract from a great design.
