I didn't discover this game until late June, so I'm stocked that they brought the pub back for in-game cash! And, even though I know I'm in the minority here, I actually think the green water looks really neat...

That being said, I can also see how this update would be frustrating for players who WERE playing at this time last year, since there doesn't seem to be a lot of new content that doesn't cost donuts...

Ik that some like Josh have good reason to be disappointed but some of the other people are just complaining about it because it's not the next level update

I mean, I want level 39 to roll around as much as anyone else (well, probably almost as much :) ), but at least I get a building I've been coveting in other towns to hold me over! I can understand why folks who don't have that consolation prize would be cranky.

My water is green, but I don't seem to be able to buy anything, or place valentines items in Krustyland. Who triggers this event? All I have on task is Bart, Milhouse, Moe, and Luigi.

Exactly. If you already have the Pub, all this update added is the leprechaun statue and a 120 donuts building. Though this is much worse than last year's Saint Pat update (1 free building + 1 premium building) this is pretty much inline with how EA usually does updates, eg 1 free decoration + 1 premium building.

Quite a few of us have had to Force Stop the game and restart it to trigger the dialogue, it should be Homer who pops up for it :)

already have the pub from last year don't want to waste donuts so the only new thing is the statue which i might buy one or two of.. the Shamrock Topiary was the prize at the end of last year for finishing the quests and you only got one now it's available to place as many as you want (that sort of annoys me for some reason)

disappointed in this update it could of been much better

This year is almost all free items so I think his is geared towards mostly freemium players but i didn't have the items last year but ik I'd feel the same so i understand but it's not gonna change anytime soon as no matter what people are always going to find something to complain about

You are kidding right? Do you think any part of Josh's posts are filled do with genuine emotion? He's a classic troll. He knows exactly what to say to get people to react. But he puts in just enough balance and nuance so that it seems like it's not deliberate.

I'm sure he has opinions about the game but he won't let those get in the way of being a forum celebrity. People have certain expectations now.

I am quite happy too. I was getting a little bored and we needed something new. As I was not here last year for S t Pat, all is good 'cause I wanted that pub ! I am gonna get the other premium stuff as well.

All in all, pretty good update for me, love that green water. :)

Maybe we could change it with selection, or it automatically change like a mood ring. Depending on what's going on in town or how often you visit or something

I think it's pretty decent for a Saint Patrick's Day update, but I was hoping for Rex Banner to return (I missed out on him). I am glad to finally have O'Flanagan's Pub (and not paying premium either). I am still on the fence on the Leprechauns but I do get Limited Editions so I may bite by the end of the event.

Think Rex Banner came with the July 4th update, so he'll most likely appear again this year.

I only started playing in May last year so really glad to get the chance to get the pub (plus not having to spend any donuts on it as well). Leprechauns seem a little overpriced for all that they do (or don't do) although do like the new cafe. Not complaining!

For us that played last year, we get a leprechaun statue or a 120 donut * bar with a * leprechaun. What Terrible update. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse. Well played EA. Nice of ya to do this to the old players that made this game as big as it is for ya.
