Stellar advice. There are so many new tasks and quests and buildings and achievements that it can be hard to keep track of everything. Overlap of lengthy jobs that prevent one line from progressing is all too easily done. Holding back from sending everyone off to do stuff until you're sure every necessary quest is on its way is a good strategy at this point. This game rewards patience in so many ways.
And I enjoy your contributions too hgfxf, even if I can't vocalise your name in my head when I read it. It's more like an onomatopoeia of the sound a chap makes after sitting down too quickly when going commando. :P
I still find it hard to believe you have the sort of big and interesting town you do while proclaiming that you only play every now and then and usually on an iPhone! That's some fine tappin' skills.

Being an old curmudgeonly cranky sort I started this game in a solitary fashion, sneered at the add a neighbor quests etc.
Then the Halloween quests happened and looking for answers I found this forum.
Quite frankly I've found the people here more fun than Matt groenig.
Thanks all.
And an awesome game as well!!

I've managed to keep my time on down by planning out specific times when all the characters finish tasks & keeping my house tapping to every 3 hours.
Ah, Joyce, of course!
