I got promoted without trying to be promoted. Since I only have 48 posts, I'd gather one wouldn't have to put too much effort to be promoted.

Some people have over 100 posts and haven't been promoted. A lot have people have said that it depends on how active you are before promotion.

Maybe it also has to do with the content of your posts? 99%+ of my posts have been in the game discussion forum conveying my opinion, offering suggestions, etc. Just an idea.

Lol I often wonder if people think I'm a guy cos of my avatar, despite my username! Yours is definitely clearer now!
