I could all but guarantee you that no one having anything to do with TSTO is involved with Titanfall. EA is a huge company with thousands of employees and is highly compartmentalized.

If EA had a huge upcoming game in the mobile space, then that would be possible.

EA is solely the publishing party. Server use and developement is in the hands of Respawn Entertainment.

And even if EA was busy doing that, this game is a mobile game and all server services and developement is in the hands of the mobile division of EA

First thing you have to know is that EA is just the publisher of the game. They don't actually make it. That's the developers. EA has many developers under its wing which make different games (Visceral, Bioware, Maxis, Respawn, etc...) In this case, they probably have a small dev team who works solely on this game & they are the ones responsible for game updates, patches & so forth.

Titanfall has no bearing whatsoever on this game or any other game for that matter. The devs who made Titanfall, which is Respawn Entertainment. Solely work in that game and that game alone.
