You can't delete pending requests theough the game that I am aware of. I tried adding one again, but it came up with already pending and there is nonoption to cancel request. Unless there is and I don't know it.

As far as I know you are stuck.. Having pending friends for months and months is annoying but at least they hide them at the bottom of the list.
