People can play both games. But as I've said earlier I'd rather play a South Park Tapped out game.

I sincerely doubt it's going to take users away from or have any effect on Tapped Out. Why would someone choose to play only one when they can play both? Personally I won't be playing anything Family Guy related. The show was funny up until the first time it was cancelled but now it's just downright stupid ever since coming back on the air.

I'll keep playing TSTO and will give the Family Guy a try to see if it is worth it or not. However the first time FG has me on a task, then does one of those "You think that's bad?" flashbacks and gives me a totally unrelated task, i'm outta there.

Really? The reason it was cancelled was because the first seasons werent even remotely funny. Like 2010-2012 was family guys hayday. This isn't like the Simpsons where the earlier seasons were the best stuff, family guy sucked at the beginning.

I'm sure this was done on purpose, but EA might have the last laugh because they haven't suck to any scheduled dates yet. The last few events have occurred later than they did last year. I'm hopping for a big event soon, but I'm definitely going to play the Family Guy game, because I only visit my tapped out game once a day now. I have plenty of time to try something new. I hope the Fanatical fans do turn this into some kind of competition, that would be good for both games.

Everything needs competition to keep the innovation going. We have all noticed EA have been slowing doing (or working on something) so maybe we will see big things from ea with Family guy coming a long. I'm a big fan of both....but i Know the Simpsons like the back of my hand and very much enjoy it.

zero interest. I dont think it poses any more threat than sim city or other city / empire building games.
