Anyone have a Galaxy S4?

I have an S4, and it's an excellent phone. It's fast, it doesn't crash, the camera is amazing, the screen is really bright, and the colors are very vivid, and the resolution is tromundus.

With all that said, I'd wait till the end of this month because the S5 is about to get released. The phone isn't a massive improvement, but the stuff that Samsung has added makes the wait worth it.

These are the specs for the phone:

The 3 that stick out is the 5.1 inch screen. 16 megapixel camera. And the heart rate monitor on the back of the phone.

The battery has also been upgraded, with some of the internal hardware.

Hope this helped! :)

Haha I'm glad you're enjoying the phone! :D

Just a heads up tho. Don't ever trust what they tell you in the store. They make their money off commissions, so for the salesmen it's better to sell you something now than later. They'll convince it ain't any better, but half of the time they don't even know. It's always good to read/watch reviews on phones and ask people who are tech savvy and don't have any personal gains with giving you an answer. Answers that have biases are usually the worst kinds.

With all that said you still did well. It's not like they sold you brick.

Agreed but the number one thing to remember is that it's ultimately your choice

I'll be getting one today (finally saying goodbye to my crappy iPhone 4! After 2 years) and would just like to know what people thought about it, if they like it or not, etc.

It is a solid phone. I had the iPhone 5 for a few days, but had to trade it in. The iPhone itself is a great phone, but the battery on the iPhone doesn't handle very well. What's the point of having an amazing phone when it is dies quickly and needs to be constantly attached to the wall?

The S4 has a bunch of cool novelty features that you won't use very much, though. But If you get a NFC enabled SIM card, you can use Isus to pay with your phone, which is nice. And if you download Zedge you will instantly have access to thousands of free ringtones and message alerts. No more paying Apple 99 cents for a Justin Beiber ringtone!
Even though it's not necessarily a deal breaker, the camera is excellent. We traveled to South Africa and I took more pics with my phone than I did with my real camera.

For tablets, the ipad is amazing, and the iPhone has its place, but for a phone it is only Android for me!

Oh, one other thing: consider getting the 32gb version. The operating system eats up about 7-8 gb so that doesn't leave much room for other things. You can buy a microsd card to increase the available free space as well.

    Enjoy!

I may as well say that the nexus 5 is well worth the buy (if you don't care about the price!)! I'm getting the moto g soon, it looks good! :-D

That's true, and in this case it wasn't a very bad choice either.

I completely agree. I've been in many carrier stores where after a minute it was clear I knew more than the sales person. Doing a little research on your own first goes a long way.

Agreed, the Nexus 5 is a great phone. But right now I'm eyeing the HTC One M8 and waiting for the Sony Xperia Z2 to come out.

I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and will be upgrading it eventually, not sure whether I'm going to stay with Samsung or try the newer HTC One when it comes out.

One thing I do know is I'll never ever buy another apple product. Total rubbish, lesson learned after I previously owned an iPhone, I always said never again. My biggest regret was switching from my old Samsung phone to that one back in 2011

You won't regret your choice of the S4 - brilliant phone, with some brilliant features that the S3 doesn't have :)
