Well, their Facebook page has announced that the exclusive will be an item, so get ready for iOS users to complain... I will make another post as soon as the item is available.
I'm Android, but personally I'm not holding my breath. Although they said they were going to give Android and Kindle players something I'm still not expecting anything. Maybe some crummy decoration. I'd love to be proven wrong, though.

I agree, it isn't going to be anything huge, so I'd something that increases nerd spawns or maybe a one off gift of 5000 blam to let us catch up. A silly deco like a giant Peter would be pointless for me

I'm happy us android users are getting something extra, though I'm hoping to be pleasently surprised by what they give us

I just hope us Android/iDevice users get the gift as well :)

Mutant Stewie has now appeared for iOS users, he gives out a fair bit of blam(50 each time) though not sure how often he returns as yet. Good news is you don't need him unlocked :)

To b fair, it may just be that you have to reach a certain point in the quest line to trigger it. Currently repairing flags to unlock Ron Perlman.

Could be. Hoping it doesn't take me too long to start that.

I'm just so tired of being pulled in so many different directions. Still trying to unlock Stewie, PB&J Brian, AND Carter, haven't even STARTED trying to get stuff for Patrick Stewart, trying to get enough Blam to fix the Convention Center (thankfully already got the Clamterprise and the hotel) and trying to do this all with one worker and fighting to remain freemium. I still have the expensive strip of land to the left that I haven't been able to afford to clear. This is freakin' ridiculous! I like your idea, if they gave us something to help us out even a little bit, it would be nice.

Lol.. Android user complained over a week about how unfair it is, that they're ALWAYS disadvantaged.. (I didnt think that it was TinyCo's decision to release it later). And you expect that iOS user will complain because you guys get something special for your patience? If it's not the blam sommelier (which is too expensive for me to buy), i'm sure happy for you guys because I do think, that this envy all the time is such a bad thing.. We should be able to grant...

I'm having a problem finding Ron Perlman... I have the quest to rescue him from the cocoon, but I can't find him. Also, I know this is random and not about Comic-Con, but does anybody happen to know Peter's max level?

You just need to repair the Flags in front of the Q hotel. 200 blam and takes 8 hours.

Not a clue on Peter's new top level I'm afraid, he's currently on 18 for me and not maxed so I would guess 20?

It won't let me tap the flags... tapping them does nothing... I guess I'll have to wait this out. Maybe it's because I haven't finished the Patrick Stewart quest yet.

If you don't have a hammer above the flag pole, it isn't available to you yet.

Stewie unlocked, finally. Lots of new content with the event update too.

I got updated and am currently trying to unlock Sir Patrick Stewart. I think it stuck that Android got the update later, but it's all there, I think.

    Make it so.

I'm getting tired of everything being connected to clams. I get they want to make money, but it seems like overkill. I'm not buying any of the crappy one time use buildings. Why are most of the characters useless? It's the same 4 or 5 that drop items only while the rest do nothing.

Mutant Stewie has invaded my town and Ron Perlman is hanging by a flagpole.

The Mutant Stewie thing gets old very quickly when it starts taking over buildings associated with specific tasks and prevents you from doing them until it's cleared.

My strategy this event is focusing on limited time event stuff-- unlocking the celebs, getting the superhero outfits, earning Blam! for prizes-- rather than the district characters since those won't go away, but this event is limited-time and whatever celebs, prizes, superhero costumes we don't unlock by the end of the event will be gone when the time is up. I'm actually enjoying this event. It involves some type of strategy especially once Mutant Stewie shows up. 8)

I have been seriously considering doing exactly what you're doing. My only concerns are whether or not Stewie will come up as useful during this event, and the fact that, maybe just because I'm a freemium player, TinyCo. has managed to screw me on every event since day 1. I still might go for it though. That shiny brass ring, always just slightly out of reach.
