Well Tom and Vinny aren't limited time. There is a building you get if you unlock Vinny in a certain amount of time (I just unlocked it). The candy thing is just once per day so it's not bad at all. The Kool-Aid thing is the usual limited time event. Tough to do but not impossible.

I'm not gonna knock this game for giving us too much content. The Comic Con event was excellent and there's been basically no down-time after it ended either. Thumbs up from me.

Indeed. Never a dull moment in this game. Never thought I'd see the Kool-Aid man in the game; TinyCo must have gotten permission from Kool-Aid brand to have it in the game. I hope he is voiced-- can't wait to hear his signature "Oh yeah!" expression from the show.

I just got vinny - missed the bonus thing cos getting the keys took a while. Have 3 candies to get for pink Brian & a lot to go for the new kool aid guy.

Jerome has so far been consistent with dropping the pitchers, of the 5 times I have sent him on his 1 hour task he's dropped it 4 times. I have 1 cherries so far but 0 ice cubes. Stupid of them to have Chris have a 16 hour task as part of the mission that doesn't drop anything.

For all limited time events like this, any special tasks that you have to send someone on for a mission should have chance to drop a necessary item. I know I could ignore the quest and put him on his task to get icecubes, but that will just mess it up as this is a limited even and either do it now or never do. That said I think he'll be free again around 11 tonight, and it is nice to get a freemium building that drops event items.

I just got Vinny, too, in less than 3 days-- actually with more than a day to spare-- I'm surprised how easy it took to unlock him-- so I got the bonus building. Nothing special about the bonus building though.

I think this is the most excited I have been about a character, I love the kool-aid guy! Ok well apart from Patrick Stewart  I've managed to drop two cherries so far but no pitchers or ice cubes as yet but with Jerome using a one hour task for it I'm pretty hopeful they will drop well!

Now I know I'm not going to get the Kool-Aid Guy. The event ends at 3PM Tuesday and the dock only earns one ice cube every 8 hours.

You will, if you built it early today an have at least 1 already.
2 on Saturday at least, 2 on Sunday at least, 2 on Monday at least and one early Tuesday morning.

My only worry is they're going to blast through all the content that can add really quickly- it's brilliant now but if In 6 months we barely get anything then we may wish it was paced better

At the moment I'm loving it though

I like the pace this game is going. I rather have too much continuos content, than to little. I think theirs plenty of material to last for awhile in this game.

Ice cubes always drop apparently - I have 2. Cherries seem to maybe drop less than 7hrs - I have 4. Lots of people to do jugs - got 8 so far. 3pm Tuesday seems to mean sometime Wednesday to people on the south of the planet.

2 candies short of pink Brian

Quite doable in the allotted time without using clams. On a side note, I already have a neighbor who unlocked the Kool-Aid guy (hopefully, legally) and he has a funny task like the show. Unfortunately, he's unvoiced. :( Hopefully, TinyCo will add his voice in the future.

Mayor West is in the game! You have to finish "Who Let the Dog Out? Part8" of the quest to get it rolling. We're getting his mansion. I love the variety of in-game coin purchase decos and buildings in this game. I'm running out of land-- again.
