I stopped today. I got up to 20-something.
I am kind of embarrassed to admit that I have 57 and am still sending Jasper to get more. I may have no need for them, but if there is a need I will be good.
I'm still collecting them as well. I'm sure we'll be able to convert them to cookies before the end of the event like it happened during Halloween.
I am having a horrible time getting the items for Mort. I am almost done, but not for lack of trying. It's nothing for me to get not a single item when I collect. Seriously why are they still making rare items during these events. Just make them uncommon and have us collect twice as many and leave it at that. It's annoying to wait 10 hours and get nothing.
I'm not going to bother collecting the weekly challenge item. I haven't even started this weeks because I'm having horrible luck on Mort so I'm not going to stress myself out on getting a potentially useless item, that I'm going to put in my storage. It's too easy for me to become obsessed with getting it all that I just can't do this again. Comic Con and Halloween burned me out.
I want Jesus and will work towards that. I bought a little gingerbread house that gives me 50 cookies every 4 hours and I am happy with that. I have Jasper. I have Lois fighting the yeti, once I get Mort I will send him on that and work towards Jesus. I have 4257 cookies right now
I gave in and spent 35 clams to unlock Mort's costume, needed all three characters attacking the Yeti to make the streak doable today and keep it going.
Currently i'm sitting here with over 100 green stockings, 40+ red stockings and 30 blue stockings. If i can keee this up, Jesus won't be far away from my Quahog.
I'm almost at level 8 holiday points, although this is a slow process once you can't create any presents.
I've sacrificed doing the questline for now, Jesus is my target and i need to keep Lois, John and Mort attacking that Yeti when he returns
I Have earned loads of free clams, proper loads of free clams, and at some point i have used them on something.
Kudos to FGQFS, the amount or premium currency they give away in their events is awesome, way better than i ever got on TSTO. Yet again FGQFS is blowing the competition that is TSTO away
Starting to think about using my clams for McClane even though I don't really want him just so I can have a chance at beating the yeti weekly challenge. Mort is taking forever and lois is only doing 1 point of damage each time - to get to 10 points I have 2 days to get on every 4hrs nonstop to be able to do it.

Having 3 characters beating the Yeti will give me more time to sleep rather than setting my alarm every 4 hours even in the middle of the night.

Having three characters helps more than you can imagine, I've onlny just started out, but even those one or two extra points taken off the total really help. I'm hoping that perhaps they may add another character to attack the Yeti at some point, i love watching the characters attacking him throwing the snowballs, especially John McClane, a snowball instead of a gun? I can just see those lines in the game for him
McClane: I gotta use snowballs instead of a gun?
Lois: Yes John, snowballs
McClane: Are we outta bullets or something?
Lois: No John, it's a game, the ESRB would never allow it, and besides, remember Peter's fight with the FCC?
Lois: I mean, he wore some old stockings and an undersized bra
Lois: People still have nightmares about it now
McClane: Yikes, snowballs it is then, better than dodging bullets for a change

well, I got one menorah from collections so speeding up Mort was only 5 clams. He's now battling alongside Lois, and McClane will join them when he's done with his pedicure.

I was able to do John's quest line overnight while the a Yeti was asleep and Bonnie had a convo with John afterwards making a "Color of Night" reference in her pool (surprised the game know this little seen Bruce Willis' flick which I actually liked-- Jane March and Bruce Willis in the pool scene was the one Bonnie referred, too. I rewatched that scene a few times when I rented the video before. ).

If my people didn't drop the stuff I needed I was going to just spend clams. Luckily Stan pulled through on the last item I needed. I am on cowboy yeti. So hopefully all 3 will do max damage so I can pick back up on my yeti streak sooner rather than later.

I love the animation of Lois, John, and Mort snowballing the childish Yeti-- who looks ridiculously funny wearing that hat.
What's interesting is that stage area for attacking the Yeti seems to be rather large, almost like it's been created for more characters to attack the Yeti... i hope my thoughts there are true
FYI, after McClane's 14 hr pedicure task he is given a 24 hr task. He won't be doing that for awhile
Yep, i'm leaving his questline out completely (and Mort Goldman's quests too), i won't lose any sleep if i miss anything funny or good, more important he's attacking the Yeti all the time with Lois and Mort
