I got JC last night. So now I have all my yeti attackers going through their missions so hopefully I can get clams at the end of the quest lines. I also got Jingle Joe who helped me kill the yeti one last time. Maxed out holiday cheer.

    19/40 for Puppy Brian.

I am swamped at work so I won't be able to focus on Brian until the 24th

Take a "smoke break" from work every couple of hours to check on your game. That's what I do.

Already unlocked all characters and skins and opened all the prizes from gift boxes. Just saving cookies for next tree upgrade by continuing to beat the Top Hat Yeti-- I'm at 11K now.

Can I just say that I love that quests can be triggered by characters while they are still doing tasks and some tasks will count towards quests if you just finished them right before accepting the quest.

Same here. I have been able to get some of the other quests done now that there are five people that can battle the Yeti. I am just collecting until the next update. I hope there will be use for all of the extra stocking that I have.

I'm at 26/40 for puppy Brian, those nice shoppers (green shirts) aren't so nice for me and keep dropping cookies instead of stockings. Jingle Joe has just 4 more snow shovels to collect then I can start crafting him.

Finally also got another task to defeat top hat yeti, this is probably the one that awards the Quagmire Christmas house skin since I still haven't gotten that and I've defeated that yeti plenty of times while he's been wearing that hat.

A tip for the shoppers. I removed all the roads from my town, just pretending it's a super bad storm. Then cleared an area and put down a square area of roads. Then placed bushes all around the road except one side. Left an opening and made a little maze. So that way when the shoppers do spawn they have to walk my little maze to get out before they scatter. Don't make the maze too big or they will just walk through the bushes. You also have to have the bushes touching to leave no gaps. I used the well trimmed bushes option. The pic below is from family guy addicts for comic con but the idea is the same.

It helps getting them all together biggest bang for you furbal.

Edit:I changed the pic the other one was way too big.

Good advice -- I've also been doing a maze. It makes bombing super easy. I unlocked everything pretty quickly and have more than enough to buy a second puppy Brian already.

Looks like you will have to check in on the toilet then. If they start to ask questions, tell them you've got the runs. The questions should stop there.

I am at 10 items left for Brian. I have let the yeti lapse back to the first level so I can have others working on their quests. Waiting to see if JC is going to make a clam for me.

Wonder if that task will be permanent.

Finally got everything for puppy Brian and started creating him. Now I just need to get 1 more snow shovel and I have Jingle Joe. I also now need to work on getting more of the stockings needed for three last presents so I can get Santa.

I pretty much have everything offered in the game so far (christmas gifts not included as i have no neighbours as i won't connect it to my Facebook - and i'm not going through the hassle of setting up another one etc), i am currently 11 christmas wrapping stockings away from puppy Brian yet, even with the ability to tap the shoppers, they still have a very poor drop rate for them. Will have him soon though. Can't wait for the final update to see what is coming next :)

According to familyguyaddicts, the clam task will be permanent.

I think that the chance of 1-2 clams isn't too bad a deal for a character to do actually, ok, it's probably going ot be rare, but as a permanent feature, it's gonna be a great thing for freemium players to at least top up their clams total, mind you, i'm guessing freemium players have probably earned a packet's worth of clams already in this event, and more. TinyCo are quite generous with their premium currency giveaways, especially during events

I think it is great to be able to get free premium currency even if it is a rare event. I just feel bad that Jesus will not be able to carry out his other tasks in my town, because he will forever be making clams.

Well just opened the last fancy gift box to get the Christmas skin for the mall. I wonder what we're going to have to do to fill the Christmas list for Quagmire, Jesus, and Santa. Peter also gave me the last snow shovel so I have Jingle Joe now. Unfortunately I didn't think things through and put both Joe and Brian on tasks so it'll be a while before I can use the new skins.

Oh, Merry Christmas and happy Hanukkah to all.
