I haven't had this weeks challenge trigger yet. Is this consistent with everyone else?

You need Anger Bruce to trigger the quest - If you have all the gifts that unlock Santa, when you get Angel Bruce (if you don't have him) you will automatically win the week 4 challenge, a lot of players have had this happen, including me

I gave in and spent ten clams to get him, that last feather i needed was not dropping, the event finishes on Wednesday so it might be worthwhile spending a few clams just to make sure you get your grand prize if you have all the others :)

This event is honestly moving me towards quitting FG. John McLane and Kiss? its just so random. .

The things is tho...it's not random at all. They were characters In The show. Lois slept with all the guys in Kiss lol you could say all the 1 episode characters in tsto are "random" then to
Your right about that, I guess. But look at how everything in the town looks from a bigger perspective.

First of all, I have no room. Period. I bunch buildings right next each other with no decorations. Thats how I never have space issues in TSTO, but almost all of my event stuff needs to go in to inventory right after event, because it is virtually impossible to make this town with everything plus roads. Theres no point in getting this christmas event stuff, because of course the seasonal stuff will get tacky in the spring. I'll need the room for the next event.

But even if I did have the room. I'd have a kiss concert, next to ghostbusters HQ, next to giant demon stewie, next to kool-aid man skate park, next to Fantastic 4 HQ. Thats what I mean by random.

Like I thought we were building quahog, not imagination land. These characters might fit occasionally on the show, but not all at once in this game. If someone actually wants to build a giant mish-mash town of retro awesomeness then this is your game. I'm not working my **** off to make that though. This is just a waste of time.

But since you reminded me of how Lois banged Kiss, you've convinced me to spend my remaining clams on them. Might as well, just to get this game over with.

Ollie gave me 25 clams this morning when I left him a present. I'd say during this event I've gotten 50 clams from gifts to Ollie. In the last 24 hrs I've gotten 100 clams in bonuses and I stilldont have JC so that set will give me more and when I get gene to rock out I will get another 25. That's a lot of free premium currency

Just got Santa, got a bonus for buying clams AND got 100k cookies. Probably won't be able to get Jesus or PB unless I work really hard.

I guess the 100k cookies thing isn't a bug then?

Glitch or not, I have over 112K cookies leftover and I've pretty much bought everything I want this event. The leftover cookies will be a waste. Santa can't eat them all either. It would be great if we can convert these cookies to clams-- 1 clam for every 1,000 cookies.

This is my biggest issue with FGQFS - i have no land. When District 10 opens i may have some land available to me, but that will fill up as i put out the few buildings i have stuck in my inventory. I have way too many decorations stuck in my inventory, far too many in fact. The problem is, the decorations are actually really nice, and a lot of them are animated. Some are even premium (yes, i have premium decos stuck in my inventory). I said at the start of the xmas event that the one strip of land they released would not be enough, i was right - even though i got ridiculed by people saying that land would be enough, i was proved right, it wasn't enough. I like to have roads in my town, i like to have a nicely laid out building plan and my town looking smart. I can't stand to see towns cluttered and messy with no (or very few) roads. I am proud of my town, but i am out of land. I will say for TSTO, i never ever had that problem. TinyCo need to open up more land.

Do I have to win all the holiday challenge prizes to get the grand prize? I know in past events we did but it doesn't say anything about it. I only won 2/5 but I really like the grand prize. I hope I can still get it or at Least buy it with clams.

I would assume it is the same format and you have to have all the previous prizes :)

Personally, this event's grand challenge prize-- the snowmobile-- is lame so you're not missing out. It would have been better if the character , God, would be the grand challenge prize and he'll have a dual task with Jesus.

My town is cluttered and messy because there's no room for anything lol. I don't like to keep much in my inventory so there's a lot of things all over my town.

Thankfully, a lot of this event's stuff-- especially the Christmas trees, gifts and decos-- will go into my inventory box when the event is over.

Just to add, before I get some flak for saying it, i'm not having a go at people with messy towns, that is personal choice to those players whether they choose to do that and have everything out in their towns, I'm just making a point that it's not something that i'd ever do in my town. I don't mean any offence to anyone if anyone thought i was or may have been criticising players :)

There won't be enough room in district 10 to unload percent of my inventory.

I have a neighbor that nukes his town regularly and fill it with event stuff. Some great designs, too, but he nukes it again whenever another event comes and does it all over again. Can't bring myself to do that yet. I just redesign one section at a time so it won't be overwhelming to me.

Same here. I've stopped fighting the Yeti once I got the Yeti deco and just finishing up Jesus' and John's quests. Still dropping off gifts to neighbors though for the bonus clams.

I normally have a Town laid out properly. For the maze to get the shoppers I ended up shoving stuff in the corner and killing all the roads. I am done with everything but King Yeti. Soon as I get him I might nuke.

As far as decorations go I put away holiday stuff, like I do in real life. So currently there is maybe 1 or 2 Halloween stuff lying around. Like I have my animated zombies right behind Bonnie's twerk poll. It makes it look like they are reaching for her while she is twerking. I try to keep buildings out who earn money, regardless of which event they are from. I am still unlocking land. Just about to unlock downtown.

I am kind of lucky I only started during Comic Con so I don't have the space problem, yet.
