I've stopped actively collecting hearts... I'm at 125 and the next prize will wipe them out all anyway if I'm not mistaken. Either way, I'm OK for now.
Took me less then a day for Cheryl as for those locked prizes I hope it's not a lot I'm at 60 love right now if it's 250 for the statue and 300 for meg looks like I won't be getting that skin
2 swimsuits and 2 fans to go for Cheryl- they are dropping fast even when listed as rare. Weird that glenda's item drops where Ida is and Ida's item drops where Glenda is. I'm ready for the next item in the list too - going for the building, then the meg skin after that
I haven't as of yet got to Cheryl, my mistake tbh, should have focused on the quests rather than the hearts, but i really want hot Meg, so the choice is a tough one, but, i'm catching up and switching tactics. Have not really enjoyed this event at all tbh, quite poor by last years standards, i messaged TinyCo about it and i was surprised by the response... did the person who returned my message agree with me? Only reason i say that is because they said many players had said the same thing and the info had been passed onto the devs to try and heplp improve gameplay, in particular, making premium characters do more/pay our more - the reason i mentioned it is because i have all the premium characters and buildings and they do bugger all. I said premium players get a bad deal in the game because they do practically nothing, so in essence, they become useless after an event they are featured in. I did note that in recent months TinyCo have tried to include the premium characters more, but for me, still not enough. I gave an honest opinion, i got a fair, open and honest reply. EA could learn something from the H&S that TinyCo have, i've always had a reply, and i always give them a 5 star review when asked about H&S
I'm also behind on this event, especially now that TSTO has released its Superhero Event. I've been focusing more on that and collecting the hearts (as well as Majora's Mask 3D) and less on finishing the main quests. It's highly unlikely now that I'll get Cheryl or Hot Meg.
I honestly don't care anymore either way, as this event has been forgettable (aside from Schwarzenegger, which you had to pay for).
Event has been enjoyable for me, no complaints at all. Cheryl Tiegs got earned faster than any character ever - less than 24 hours. Loving Schwarzenegger and the new buildings, as well as the new gameplay element of the dates.

I think the dates idea is a good addition, but it needs to be allowed to add more couples than just one, but the same old mechanics are still there that are getting repetative, tap the couples, chase out the perfume sprayers (which i will start doing soon as i've repaired the bench in about 3hrs), just the same as minion stewies, etc. This element needs to be changed to something completely new to refresh things. I know i'm not the only player who feels the same about it. I'm quite interested to see how quick i can unlock Cheryl based on what others have said. Schwarzennegger is one of the best additions since ComicCon as his lines are not from a movie and are so funny. the audio for them is really good as well compared to the likes of Gene Simmons which is pretty poor (on Android anyway). Still think its crazy asking for 100 clams for a building skin or even more for a character skin (thankfully not in this event this time).

I agree, every premium characters should be used in all events all the time and not just for event currency. They should help with item drops always. They should be incorporated into some side story lines as a bonus for people who shelled out to buy them.
I am hard pressed to buy them lately because I'm tired of them being useless after the event is over, and also because their quest lines tend to be kind of short.

I got a lot of flack for saying premium characters should do more, and drop items in every event, mainly from freemium players who don't have the characters, but why should premium players feel let down, they spend real money on clams, buy the premium stuff to improve their gameplay and help keep the game ticking over for premium players. It's a let down to them when those premium characters and buildings become useless afterwards. This doesn't mean to say that events can't have new characters that drop items, it just means there is more chances of items dropping. I've always tried to keep on the straight line between freemium and premium gameplay, becaue at some point we all have started off as freemium, but now i think it's time i actually started to defend premium players and actually try and push for premium content to do more in the game. What you said there about being hard pressed to buy them is exactly why i'm trying to push for premium characters to do more after events - if they do nothing afterwards, the incentive to buy them reduces greatly, and people won't be tempted to buy clams/use clams to get the characters.
Premium characters used to be almost required to complete an event. This event is far too easy in my opinion. Cut the timer back to 3 days. And I still don't see a point of collecting hearts..I've stopped sending characters on tasks, just doing the storyline.
Cheryl was very easy to get. I'm getting broken hearts for the asylum and then will try for meg. The list is locked still though. Have 5000 valentines cards too. One or two of my premium characters have the 1 day task that gives 30 valentines. Waiting for the next update
Got all the prizes in the new hearts mystery box. I need 350 "love" for Hot Meg skin. Just waiting for the quest to build the bench for Cupid. Benedict Cumberbatch coming to Quahog this weekend. Mostly likely another premium character.
