Yeah, someone at familyguymobile.co.uk found out a way to get items first time every time, even epic items! :P
It is an awesome trick. It didn't work fit me at first as my notification bar didn't show up on FG on my tablet. But I went to running apps and it shows up there. I would recommend everyone going to check the trick out!

I gave up on the game, the event isn't possible without friends and buying things and I am neither creating a Facebook account to accumulate friends nor am I spending money in the game...too bad they went that route, it was fun until now.
The event is not affected by how many friends you have. It's been barely 1 day. There might be bonuses and things that give more idols. At the pace i am going at, I am going to unlock a good amount of items. I'm a total freemium player and have no intent of spending any money on the event.

I'm doing quite well. Not sure how many prizes I'll get. Even though I have almost 1,200 (to spend), I was grinding them yesterday, I'm grining/saving up more later to help get Adventure Peter. I can't grind very often on Mondays to Fridays apart from about 4pm onwards. I'm hoping I get at least 5 prizes!
