What I would like is for the stupid thing to actually work. I hate that you either have to choose a nice Springfield or to have friends but not both.
I think a nighttime feature would be cool.
Also, I think it'd be nice if you didn't always need wifi. My iPad doesn't have 3G, so if I ever go out of town I wouldn't be able to access my Springfield. So I think we should be able to access our Springfield without wifi, and only need wifi when we want to access the store or our friends.
Quite often software has bugs and needs patching. For the number of issues with the game though, there's ever some major coding issues or there's resource issues with server / bandwidth availability.
I'd plump for the resource issue as I'd hate to think that EA knowingly released a game with this many flaws that needs constant patching and the fundamentals still aren't right...
So if they could reinvest some of the in-app purchase money in making this game stable, it'd be great...
(And for the record - the game itself, when works as intended is brilliant).
I wish I had found this forum before I spent money! I would have never spent it but I won't make that mistake again. I think those playing for free are being smart. The game is so unstable. I haven't spent a cent since about midway through the Halloween event when I found this forum and realized how unstable this game was. Right now, I'm about $100 into it because of running 2 games at once (mine and my son's) which is why I am annoyed that after 2 months I'm suddenly having nonstop issues.
So you can make sure all of the characters are tasked
I would like to see more items to design your town, rather than a variety of trees and street signs.
Stupid....
STABILITY!
Character toggle
Easier ways to earn donuts (trust me, people will still buy them!)
Other stuff:
A confirmation screen before using donuts. I've lost a few to brown houses thanks to vigorous tapping, and I lost TWELVE to generate a Santa Coin yesterday. I've paid real money to get a handful of those things and it's so frustrating to lose them for nothing. I guess I should be careful while playing, but it still makes more sense to have a confirmation pop up.
Less linear game play. Everyone progresses at different rates, and donut usage adds some variety, otherwise every player follows the exact same path in the way their town develops. It's also annoying that I can be at a level much higher than is needed to build something, but I just haven't finished following the order the game wants for me to get there. I think sending characters on various jobs before the player is prompted to have them do so should count towards something.
Otherwise I really enjoy the game, it just has a lot of frustrating things that are starting to spoil it.
Why's that stupid? You can build multiples of various houses, and a second Kwik-E-Mart and Krusty Burger, so why not multiple apartment complexes and businesses?
One more little touch I'd like. Being able to "paint" brown houses a variety of colors.
2. a find character menu. We are getting so many now that it would be nice if you could have a locate character option to see where they are and maybe if they have a quest available when they are done the current task they are on.
3. in game chat or an option to leave messages for other players (addition for the post office maybe?)
4. fix the damn premium stuff to actually give the bonuses they are suppose to.
Thanks for that insightful reply.
"Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."
1) Collect all button
2) A confirm button before spending donuts. It asks us to confirm before storing a fence why not before spending donuts.
3) A way to earn donuts such as watching videos, completing offers (such as signing up for netflix/gamefly gives you premium currency)
4) more levels instead of giving us 1 level at a clip give us 5 so after a week we don't get bored.
5) Stability! This game has been out awhile now and after the first debacle when it was first released you would think that EA would have gotten it figured out by now. I am no game programmer but if it's your job to get all the kinks out then do your job. I understand that crap happens that are uncontrolable such as server crashes but I am talking about the general **** kinks.
Great ideas. Especially like 1 and 2.
the way it would work is you tap it and it summons every character currently not doing a job, so you get to gather everyone in one place to find them as now that our towns are getting so big and we have so many people it takes ages just to find and assign tasks to everyone.
1. The ability to store more than one item at a time when moving an area or redesigning.
2. The toggle switch for visiting friends towns to also be available in Krustyland. Some of us are still ticket-poor even though the park is "completed."
