The characters are pretty big as well. Keeps them in proportion i guess.

It's in line with the size of the characters. And it's nowhere near as big as the Simpson house. Apparently you have a flair for ridiculous exaggeration. You should work for the GOP.

It's the same size as the police car...it seems to be in line with the sizes of other vehicles in the game. I'm not really seeing the problem here...

The cars and characters would be too small to see clearly or the houses would have to be enlarged and you'd have even less limited space. Either choice isn't worth the wonky proportions in a cartoon video game.

Lol. Totally agree. I can't recall exactly, but I noticed right after the SFMall came out that it is only about 3 times the length of one of Chalmers Ondas. The proportions on the Simpson car are ludicrous as well, compared to real life (examples below). But as a poster above explained, our TSTO options would be either microscopic cars, the size of Snowball, or massive houses. hence the wacky proportions.
