I actually had set them all up for 4 hour tasks to be complete 1 hour ago. So I came back and found out that the server had exploded in my absence. I'm not losing anything other than the ability to make more game-money which is annoying me because I purposely set this day aside to do that very thing.

Planning and this game do not compute.

Going on three hours now! I had just given Sideshow Mel the get fired out of a cannon task, so he's been done with that for 2 1/2 hours. Everything must really be down, because I'm no longer getting any Homer voice notifications that characters are done.

I'm gonna go get groceries. Thbbttt!!!

I was going through my friends' Springfields, tapping along happily, 6 coins away from having enough to build the Bowl-a-rama, then the lights went out. Sad and unfortunate, but * happens.

I have had no problems accessing my Springfield, just been unable to visit friends (no Origin button). Glad to at least have access to my little town.

Not photoshopped. Tried to reinstall after deleting. Second time worked but no server screen. Go figure.

I am finally able to get to my Springfield without issue, but friends are not back yet. There has been neighbor activity in my town very recently so I am hopeful mine will come back to me soon. On a positive note, I was able to finish holiday decorating and gift wrapping as well as all my usual weekend chores in record time without this monkey on my back. Now I will have even more time tonight to tap my iPad obsessively and watch The Simpsons (assuming the game remains semi-stable). I even get extra bonus time since The Walking Dead not coming back til February, the only show that gets my undivided attention...my Sunday night is wonderfully free.

I was in Best Buy purchasing an iPad for my self as an upgrade to play this game (along with other tasks I am sure ), AND and iPod Touch for my Niece to play the game also... :-)
