    For what? A prolonged headache...

I get what you're trying to say, but I think people who've gone thru this before don't want to go thru this again. Unfortunately we probably will.

Tear me apart for what I'm about to say, but, it looks like if you want everything in this update you might just have to pay for it for once.

There's been far too many items I've spent donuts on that EA turns around and makes available for cash. Then I've seen EA give away what was made available for donut only purchases under the presumptions of "limited time only". Then the best is when they do a deal on multiple premium items all the while with no compensation for those that had already bought said items and have been paying since day one.

Thats my rant- you get what you pay for. I've spent 200 donuts on eggs so far and I really can't say I'm disappointed. However, what would be disappointing is if EA changes the odds later on. I think they've done that before too......
    WOW

If you think they are punishing freemium players you must be on some elitist trip! You go ahead and waste your money on a CHANCE to win something good. Maybe you should get into comedy lmao!:lol::lol:

I can pretty much buy out the entire premium item list with the money it would take to win a fraction of the stuff those donuts are worth... Geez I better stop while I'm ahead, I don't want to sound like a ****!

EA won't be making many friends with this event, which is clearly forcing your hand at buying Donuts to get some limited time items. I'm sure I'll miss out on some things, and it'll stink, but there's no way I'm giving in. I'm not falling for it.

Also, 180 Donuts for Crazy Cat Lady? Lmfao. I love their pricing. Hahahaha.

I apologize if I did but your comment was just way too easy. I mean you set yourself up for that...

Look at the bright side, it could've been much worse. The point is someone has to explain to you right? At least you didn't make this mistake when it would actually matter, for instance in front of actual people, who would be a lot harsher with their thoughts.

I miss the old days with individual prizes and community prizes. *sigh*

Remember the good 'ol days when you use to be able to haunt someone's buildings and place some gremlins while collecting goo for your individual prizes and helping the community out as well.

Perhaps EA is figuring we gain donuts from being capped on FPs so some purchases should be available for everyone who plays often.

But what shocked me was that gold egg number. 6,500 eggs would be only 13 boxes. So at the very best, eg working at max capacity, getting up at odd hours for a month to set those tasks precisely, etc., the person gets 13 chances? For NINE prizes?

And still nowhere near the 20 box minimum to be eligible to have a chance at getting Shary Bobbins.

It's stints like this that have made EA pretty much the worst company in America. No consideration for their consumers at all.

Yup, teach me how to ignore something. And teach me how to finish something with "actual people" too. You're so good good at it, lol. Really, you just have to learn to take what I said without getting all defensive. It was just my opinion, lol. So, what was the old saying about the pot calling the kettle black?

gold box items as premium items that cost donuts.

    I would prefer this...

as a premium player i would happily buy another batch of donuts if they were just available as premium items like the crazy cat lady, rather than know i'm probably NOT going to get them as prizes (i haven't had 1 gold egg yet). At least then i could choose which items i want and not be stuck with items that are crap, unwanted and gathering virtual dust in my inventory because EA decide i can't sell them

This event is worse than any wheel event. In essence, they have given us 3 wheels, with one virtually unattainable due to the fact that they only way to pick the golden box is by the chance of winning gold eggs from the other boxes. It doesn't make sense to me that they would do this.

This event could push a lot of people away from The Simpsons Tapped Out and find solace with Family Guy: Quest For More Stuff.

Bottom line is that this Donnelly guy regrets wasting (supposedly) $500 on the game and is trying to make himself feel "ELITE" by putting down people who have enough sense not to throw their money away for a game that's servers will likely be down in two years time.

Do you really need to be reminded about how much people were whining about this at Christmas? And in the end most people got everything, at most missing one or two.
LMAO who got everything? Just because a tiny percent of players got everything don't mean everyone got everything.

Hell if people hadn't made a big deal about how unfair that wheel was half of the people who cleared the wheel would've been one or two good prizes short of having everything... So please do tell who is everyone?

I managed to clear everything, just, but only because I complained to EA's support about a glitch that stopped me getting Claus co. Even so they took about a week to replay.
Has ea forgot tiny cos new game?!
