I generally agree, but why do you keep referring to math in the plural ("maths")? You would say science, not sciences; or history, not histories, etc. Just wondering. It's math, no "s" on the end. Sorry to be a grammar **** but I'm intent on preventing you from ebarrassing yourself in the future when discussing math.

I wondered too. Then realized linkwick may be in the UK. They use the terminology "maths" ... :)
An Aussie, but close. :) And yeah, local language quirks - like how we spell "colour" with a "u". I presume "maths" having an "s" is due to "mathematics" having one. But hey, I just follow the linguistic conventions, not create 'em.
Isn't English wonderful and straightforward? :P

(And I'm pedantic about spelling & grammar as well. )

I agree with the OP totally - this update is a blatantly pushing people to either spend a ton of real cash or quit playing.

Personally I dont mind paying a little here and there for the pleasure of what is essentially a good, entertaining game.....but the sheer volume of prizes seems to dictate that spending a LOT will be needed.

I'd rather stop playing than be manipulated into this kind of spend!

I posted this elsewhere, but it's worth re-posting...Google the site tsto addicts (I'm affiliated in anyway) and read "It Doesn’t Add Up….Or Does It? The Math of TSTO Easter". Very good read that should calm everyone down.

Already read it. IMO it starts off OK, but moves into the territory of wishful thinking and misses key points. For instance, they hardly refer to the Gold Boxes, and leave them out of any "maths" they try to show. Gold Boxes are where the major issues lie with trying to complete this event with all prizes.
